Early Ratings
.6 / 2.09
Up in the younger 18-34's, at 0.4, too.
I hope it holds in the finals.
A question for those that watched last year's rating. Usually DST will effect a show's ratings negatively, how badly did it effect SG.
It's a shame that since it's little uptick, SG is going off the air for so long. Wonder if it will help LoT as they they have a very loyal fanbase plus the people who don't follow social media and don't know about the hiatus.
Daylight Savings hits all shows....won't happen until March, and Supergirl won't come back until weeks after DST begins, so it probably won't be hit as hard as it usually does.
It will be interesting to see how LoT fairs with the tougher competition on Monday nights and with no Flash lead in....
Thanks for the info.
I don't think it will effect LoT. It's pretty resilient so far as it's already been moved twice? not sure how many. But they generally get good reviews and word of mouth. They have pretty young, comic book fan base. I doubt if even the Winter Olympics will effect the show.
But it will be interesting to see how it does on Monday nights.
I really hope they promote the hell out of SG when it comes back in April, now the TPTB see it's actually gaining some mometum.
Monday night u'competition will be the test...
I think they will....
I think it's just the fact that the show for the first time has a decent villain arc/through-line that has actual stakes and a sense of urgency about it. It's more focused and serialized than the last two seasons, which holds people's interest. The new showrunners probably deserve the credit for that. This backhalf of the season has been so interesting. Ratings went up and held up! Is it all the media attention from AKs firing? Is it because Mon-El is back? Or the show has just gotten better in the 2nd half of the season? Either way Im happy but its interesting.
Yes please. And maybe CW will stop being stupid and give us a Birds of Prey show that can be paired with Supergirl.
