Batman Begins = Nolan reached out to Goyer bc he knew comics
Hellboy 2 = Del Toro does script with Hellboy creator Mike Mignola
Iron Man = Favreau had the aid of Mark Millar, Brian Michael Bendis, Joe Quesada, Tom Brevoort, Axel Alonso, and Ralph Macchio.
Avengers = Joss Whedon
Spider-Man 2 = Raimi was a big Spider-Man nerd as a kid

WB doesn't seek out people with passion for DC properties they seek out people on budget
