Here's my theory on Kryptonians:
Think of them like batteries. Outside of the yellow sun they are at 1. The minute they hit Earth and that yellow sun...they are at 10,000 (take that Goku).

Now Jor'el tells Clark he has powers but doesn't list them all...so Clark has to figure out what he can and cannot do...hence the comment about testing his limits. Clark has no frame of reference.
Zod and his people on the other hand can see what Superman can do...he flies, is fast, shoots beams out of his eyes....we should be able to do this too. Example: Let's say you have a sibling that discovers on their 30th birthday that they can fly. After some testing it's discovered their is something genetic in your family make up that allows your family to fly. Would it take you 30 years to discover you can fly or would you be able to fly sooner? Sooner right?

This.

maybe people did notice but then realized that if a man could treat a truck like a pin cushion that they should mind their business

Nothing in the movie suggests he was noticed.

I get that and I fully accept how Zod is more disciplined to tune into his powers than Clark, but you said it. Think of them like a battery. It takes a bit for that battery to charge.

However it doesn't take 30 years to charge...considering that in MOS Young Clark had use of heat vision, strength and invulnerability.

I think nolans cowl was the best for a real world type batman film. for a more straight up comic film fighting batman Affleck takes it. I think Affleck is just so big from top to bottom in the batman costume and more in line with the comic looks. I will say though I wish Nolan would have made the bat logo on the chest bigger.

Could you explain yourself? I think it looks fine.

Some people never liked the Nolan batsuits period. Some people just like to hate past interpretations once a new one comes out. some just like the fact that BatFleck cowl as well as complete costume is one of the most comic accurates we have ever gotten. I liked the Nolan costumes just fine as well as everything fit in with that "universe" just fine.

Seeing it compared to Keaton and Affleck made me realize that I much perfer the other two. Maybe it's too skinny for my taste. That picture just showed me that I prefer the other two over the Nolan one and that concept hadn't hit me before now. That's all.

True, but the movies and comics have illustrated that it takes Clark at least 3 to 4 years (some versions over 10 years) to develop his head powers such as Xray, hearing, heat vision.

I liked to think that Clark's power advantage is what helped him beat the Kryptonians technique and tactical advantages.

WatchMojo's list of most anticipated movies in 2016. BvS position is no surprise :)

WB’s ‘Batman v Superman,’ ‘Suicide Squad’ Outpacing Competition on Digital Platforms

http://variety.com/2016/more/news/w...l-platforms-1201690088/?preview_id=1201690088

With upcoming films “Suicide Squad” and “Batman v Superman” both climbing the DAR-Film leaderboard, Warner Bros. has claimed the lead as the studio with the most anticipated comic-book adaptations of the year.

Among the slew of comic book films set for release in 2016, including new “Captain America” and “X-Men“ adaptations, early social and digital tracking places “Suicide Squad” and “Batman v Superman” 500% stronger than competitors based on standing at the same point pre-release. “Batman v Superman” is currently the #1 film by volume, followed by “Suicide Squad” and “Deadpool.”

“Suicide Squad” will not hit theaters until August of 2016, but with “Batman v Superman” set for release in March, early trailer interest levels confirm that Warner is expected to see one of its strongest summers yet.

Each week Variety publishes ListenFirst Digital Audience Ratings (DAR) – Film, a measurement of fan engagement across all the major digital platforms as it relates to film (see the TV version here). Provided by ListenFirst Media, DAR – Film measures what entertainment content is resonating most across Facebook, Google+, Instagram, Tumblr, Twitter, YouTube and Wikipedia combined.

Dialog between Kal-El and Faora in the MoS novelization, unheard in the movie.

I'm glad it didn't go exactly like that. I love the line, "I don't care what you tell him." I was a great example of human arrogance and bravery in face of unwinnable odds.

Yaaas! Both of them are currently my most anticipated films as well. Before Suicide Squad's last trailer, it placed it number 5 on the list. Now it replaced Civil War.

Shoutout to Empires cheeky little nod to Green Lantern.

Yeah that's one of my favourite moments in MOS, I'm also glad that Superman didn't say anything to Faora. The way he looks in surprise when Lois says she'll go is fantastic.

I actually have two copies of that novelisation and I'm yet to read it lol

I assume one must have been a gift; unless you hate rewinding books as much as me.:oldrazz:
