Nah not at all.

It is actually. I work with logos and branding all day - seeing a logo take up that much real estate can be adequately described as jarring. I'm struggling to think of any other movie that had a shot specifically to showcase a corporate logo at that size.
If it didn't bother you that's fine, but it's far from a stupid complaint, especially when you take into consideration that Man of Steel easily had some of the heaviest cross-promotional marketing and product placement of any movie. Its far from subtle.

Oh... hey..! A gif insult. People never do that here...

Nah not at all but agree to disagree. Carry on sir.

There's actually a 7-Eleven across the street from where they filmed the courthouse scene.

Man I really have the urge lately to watch MOS again. Might have to this weekend

So for the record you're saying this isn't distracting at all and that complaint is stupid.

Lol. Got it

it makes me want a new washer and dryer that i don't even need

The only way that their budget would be that high is if some of the cast members had expensive contracts

My guess is that Ben Affleck and Jason Momoa contributed heavily to that aspect. The rest of the cast are relatively new, unknown or have come from MoS. And I say Momoa only because I remember him getting rejected for a previous role because his asking price was way too high. Chris Terrio probably didn't come cheap either.

Doubt its budget would that high due to its cast, especially for a cameo from Momoa, also i doubt Affleck's asking price was that high for a superhero film given his last fiasco in the game. Honestly we can thank our lucky stars none of the BvS cast have an RDJ sized ego issue.

Yes for the record. Ladies and gentleman I'm on record now as saying it isn't distracting to me at all and that its a stupid complaint. It's on the record. It's in the books people mark it.

Affleck's contract alone is probably around $40 million, if I had to guess.
No clue about Momoa.
