Quick question for all you American football handegg fans, are there any more major matches left until the Super Bowl or is the Super Bowl just left?

I want more TV spots.

The Pro Bowl is this Sunday.

But it's a joke.

Just the Super Bowl.

Super Bowl, March Madness, and prime-time NBA games. The Super Bowl is the last match of the NFL left though.

I don't watch football, but to answer your question: there's a pre-bowl this Sunday, and the Super Bowl the Sunday after.

The Pro Bowl is this Sunday.

But it's a joke.

So next week has a big chance to give a new Batman v Superman spot. :hmr:

If there is a Super Bowl spot though, we should be getting confirmation soon. I'm pretty sure CBS will announce the ads soon.

I don't know, but the Super Bowl is Feb 7th, so I'm sure soon. I would assume by sometime later next week.

Not exactly sure though to be honest.

ok, cheers.

Hopefully soon.

Jokes be like.

I'm expecting a new trailer during da SB.

Also, I would let Bryan Fuller do anything in the DCU. :oldrazz:

I've been watching JLTAS on Netflix before it's gone in February. And there was a scene in the recent episode where Diana and Bruce meet at a party in France and are having a dance before the part gets crashed. At first it seems like Diana doesn't know Bruce is Batman but at the end of the two episodes when the two are standing together in costume Diana says to Batman, "now we can finally finish that dance" and Batman says "I have no idea what you are talking about". I felt like that was a perfect style joke for BvS.

WB doesn't often have Superbowl TV spots.

Well Snyder's been promoting the hell out of his Doritos Super Bowl spot for months and with these series of Batman v Superman TV spots we've been receiving during pre Super Bowl football matches pretty much sounds like a done deal for a Super Bowl spot for BvS.

Not to mention that this ain't just any Super Bowl but the Super Bowl 50 which is i heard to be a big deal, and with roughly a month and a half between the Super Bowl and the release of Batman v Superman it would be marketing suicide if WB/DC don't benefit from the Super Bowl given all these factors.

I feel there's some validity to the comparisons with The Amazing Spider-Man 2. That's why I'm lowballing expectations and advise others to do the same. While the trailers have generally been good, there's a lot that could go wrong in the movie itself.

Particularly the fight itself seems to be most compelling part.

What could go wrong with the fight?

They fight,

They bite,

They bite and fight and bite,

bite, bite,bite,

fight, fight, fight,

Batman vs Superman.

Nah, I'm good.

Nothing, it seems like the most interesting and foolproof part even though they outlined the basic beats.

The lack of a plot was my problem for Amazing Spider-man 2.

There was a plot...kinda. The problem is that there was so many sub plots that no plot got fully fleshed out.

Yeah the movie had way to many sub plots and not in a Gu3ree kind of way.

Half the trailer shots were not in the final movie, and entire characters arcs were edited out. That may have been a reason for things not being fleshed out a lot more.

Anyone who thinks this has similarities to ASM 2 has wrong expectations to begin with.

The fight will probably be awesome. But what makes me hopeful about this movie isn't even the action, it's the character development. I feel like we're going to get real emotional conflicts leading to characters growing/changing. I feel like the story will have layers to it. 2 heroes who are good with conflicting viewpoints. And a villain who isn't who he appears who will have strong motivations of his own and personal feelings for both Bruce and Superman. I feel like it's going to be a complete story.

The "It's gonna be TASM2" thing isn't that crazy of a thought though. I mean, it does tick off all the things TASM2 did before it's release.
Lots of big characters
Big talk of setting up the universe
Wacky looking villain who is supposedly a fierce threat
Lots and lost of marketing

You could say the same thing about Iron Man 2, or Avengers, or well any movie that builds a universe.

So I teach in a room that has a computer with a projector and a large screen...I just watched every BvS trailer and TV spot back to back. I damn near cried and said to myself "I cant believe I actually get to watch this in the theaters in a couple of months! My hype levels just wont cease!!

I also watched the Suicide Squad trailer...I have seen it 2 dozen times and I still cheer every time! Too bad WB has no plan! ;)
