Nah, it's just that these rumors seem marginally more legit than the other batch. That doesn't mean put the salt away. That said even if it's true movie development is always in flux.

Why are we believing 4chan "leaked" information rather than Jett, Canpea, Frosty, Hughes, and other journalists and pundits within contact with those in the business? Is it because this is the only "positive" leak in a long time, or is it due to 4chan being a highly respected and trusted site?

Naw, those other guys just have sticks up their arses. Until a couple of them give good reviews to WW. Come to think of it, many of them gave good reviews to to at least one of the three DCEU films already out. Perhaps they take the stick in and out at times.

Debating what was the biggest Red Flag about this big happy, everything I could want as a humongous fan of the DCEU, exciting new slate of films: the source, or a Man of Steel 2 being made.

Did you bother to read the first post? I said take it with a grain of salt.

Add to that people are willing to believe the negative rumours. We're discussing the possibility that the rumours could be true. With regards to MOS2, there's been Brainiac rumours before and we have Cavill's agent and Amy's Adams talking about the films development.
