It's gonna be alot of Kryptonians in this movie, even a sleeper agent Kryptonian named tor-an.We know this from that leaked call sheet. We seen alot of set pics with different people in mocap suits including shannon as zod.So obviously when zod get sent to the Phantom Zone more people will get sent with him.It make sense that it would already be people there too. Also it could be bad guys in the zone that's not Kryptonians. So that mocap guy beside faora might not be a Kryptonian.
This is what I'm afraid of. The more Kryptonians there are, the less special Superman becomes. He's the "Last Son of Krypton" for a reason. Let's try keep things to a minimum.

I see your point, but I don't think that's something to be afraid of. First of all, showing that his powers are not what makes Superman special is a really good idea for a character who's perceived as just a walking powerset. Plus, you gotta figure that all the Kryptonians will be dealt with by the end of the film, in part due to Kal-el's actions. That means he will earn the name Last Son of Krypton, in the same way that Batman earned the title The Dark Knight. Makes TLSoK a great title for a sequel should one arise.

Also, it's a bit unavoidable. The only credible challenge to Superman that doesn't derail his origin story is a set of Kryptonians, and no surprise, Superman has lots of Kryptonian villains to draw from in the comics.

I think that comment above me was for you^That's DrCosmic mistake. It's no big deal tho.

Good golly that was weird of me. You're right, so I slid his quote in there in the hopes that it will now make sense. Oy.

Aw, Supes doesn't stand a chance in this round. Oh well, at least he made it to the final showdown.

I love both. I don't want either to beat the other. But I still threw a vote Superman's way since he's going to get pummeled.

Let me guess, Batman vs. Superman?

EDIT: Survey says YES!!!!

Glad Superman's made it this far but sorry, I'm going to have to throw a vote in Bats's direction. :oldrazz:

I thought Supes would have it way worse, considering the success of Batman. I'd like to see the same poll in about a year post MOS.

if i see one more person on that comment section who says i relate more to batman i am gonna bust

yup a billionaire playboy who lives in a mansion with a butler and connections in the police force with gordan with fancy cars and gets all the girls and goes to high caliber celebrity parties due to his status through public image and has never had to work a day in his life

yup i am just like him lol

i love batman dont get me wrong but that i relate to batman more to superman is a comment i hear all the time and i dont get it

i guess a hard working blue collar farm boy with family values who grew up in the mid west who has wanted to help people even before he became superman and even has a job on the side of his heroics is so unrelatable

but i guess he is just some alien from krypton:whatever:

I reckon that might be some of the elements they're selling a more "relatable" Supes with in MOS. The hardworking "blue collar" farm boy with the heart in the right place, despite his heritage. If so it's about damn time.

And don't get me started on the discussion on who would win in a fight. You have people arguing that Batman would win because he has the Lazarus Pit and is immortal. As I said in the comments section, so Superman is lame because he is overpowered but Batman is cool because he is freaking IMMORTAL!? Talk about hypocrisy.

He's gaining. I'm surprised. Must be entirely fans.

Is it really a competition at all? Why cant we all just get along?

I voted twice.

They release pictures for the the hobbit and pacific rim today but nothing for mos?pacific rim come out after mos. What the hell is going on?

I think that are avoiding revealing too much too early, that could mean the movie itself is not long, maybe the runtime of the movie is short, like 90 minutes, then revealing any info this early is risky.

I don't think the relation people have to batman is that they can necessarily relate to him per se, i think it's more at least for me anyways the idea that if any superhero would ever exist in real life it would be batman.

I think people have that hope that somewhere there is this eccentric billionaire out there with a grudge and the right resources who can actually set out and fight crime like no average person can.

Batman represents the best that someone in the right circumstances can do and become. Superman is still seen as very much godlike and foreign and frankly the last few superman movies didn't do much to change that image. Funny enough i think over the last twenty years Lois and Clark actually did the best of humanizing superman.

Aye very frustrating, but at least we can take a few things from this. If WB market MoS anything like these other big ones, we'll definitely see something picture-wise way before the first proper trailer in December. I think

I doubt the film is that short.

Similar marketing to Batman. Expect it to be like this:

Teaser trailer and teaser poster- July
Theatrical trailer 1- December
Theatrical trailer 2/ theatrical posters- April/May
