Thus far it looks like a farm you'd see in modern, real life Kansas (instead of a Norman Rockwell representation). The barn looks like it's seen better days, there's random trees placed about. The landscape is relatively boring.

Texas, Kentucky, and Virginia here, among others. Also have family in Missouri, Nebraska and Tennessee.

And these fields causing my drowsiness were only in Michigan.

I'm confident that bum-**** Illinois will do just fine.

I used to cross Baxter Springs every weekend when I was riding with my family to Joplin, Missouri. That's where we went for groceries.

Grew up in a town called "Chetopa", which is very close to Baxter.

Yup...things could change of course but snyder did say he would release one BEFORE filming started.

I dunno. I would think it would be the real deal, but very well thought out. No telling how many they'll take before deciding which one is best to release. Which Pose, background, etc.
I'm sure they remember well how the first reveal of the SR suit went over, it was met with a bunch of ''meh's'', indifference. Not really any hate toward it, but not much love either.

Yeah I'm sure they learned from the SR fiasco, I'm really anticipating the first shot of Cavill as Supes.

I'm no expert in that area, but i'm wondering if they should show him doing something other than just standing in the first reveal. Maybe flying, or in some sort of action pose.

If I was doing the first look, I'd have him doing the shirt-rip while running (slap in a blurry/out of focus street-alley with computer magic). There you have both Clark Kent and technically Superman with the \S/ symbol.

Off topic, but it seems time to open up a set pics thread..we have smallville and the kent farm set pics released already.

Yeah, I was going to start an "Official" pics thread when I posted some pics of the smallville building that showed some destruction, but I wasn't sure if I should or not.

I love that idea. That would make a great poster. Focused Clark in the back running, then blurry images of him changing in between to the focused front of the poster as Superman.

Okay I do remember that. Was expecting something a bit more shockingly awful

I never really hated on the suit tho. I mean it's flawed yeah, but compared to the storyline... It's the better of the evils.

Plus I was 17. All I remember is seeing that pic and squealing in delight. I was squealing in delight after watching the film for crying out loud... Just so jazzed about seeing a Superman movie on the big screen with current effects I wouldn't accept there were any flaws for weeks.

But once you open up that door...
