I really like that there are Kryptonian weapons. Jor-El's rifle and Faora's dagger have me irrationally excited.



I think both of those would fit into the two Zod battles.

I dnt...it looked like a young college age clark in the set pics we saw...imo its just a natural disaster. One that i think afterwards causes him to make a journey to discover who he is.

- The destruction of Krypton, which requires Jor-El to carry around a weapon.
- Clark saving a bus.
- Clark and the boat.
- Superman/army vs. Zod and crew in Smallville
- Metropolis Smackdown

I hear ya, but remember we also got a few fake ones along the way. The ones that popped up weeks (or in one case, a few months) before the trailer premiered. Usually descriptions start coming when the theaters get the trailer. I believe TDKR had quite a few fake ones. That's why I don't believe this one to be true, too early. I am however disappointed at my lack of strength. I just couldn't help myself from reading what could be spoilers. But I blame that on the timeline. If it was a week before the trailer I would have resisted...I think...I hope...

Maybe he farts in space and it just takes several years to reach Earth, Zod realises his fart could cause problems but only days after he's done it so it takes him even longer to get to Earth

I saw in an older comic that he used heatvision and a mirror. Also, He made lenses for his glasses from his crashed ship because his x-ray vision melted normal lenses

What was the highest grossing superhero movie before Batman Begins? What about now?

The industry has changed drastically since TDK.

You're fooling yourself if you think the build up to Man of Steel is remotely comparable to Superman Returns.

As apposed to what many people thought, superhero movies are grossing more than any other genre and have become THE must see movies of the year every year.

Umm Sam Raimi's 2002 Spider man film was the highest grossing superhero film before batman begins...it made over 800 million at the box office

I really hope they show how he gets rid of the beard. Snyder must be aware of this....fans even jokingly asked how he gets rid of it at comic con. He said that's a spoiler, although in a jokey way. I really hope they show it.
