You're right about the statue. I guess I was thinking of images. Photos and drawings. I pay less attention to toys and statues. Heck, Zod may have had a cape as a lego toy. I don't remember.

Gotcha. Those statues and toys can give some great insight. Especially the statues and collectibles because of their amazing detail. Seeing as how they don't give us any full body pics or any detailed images from the movie. Be on the look out for those exotically priced HOT TOYS collectibles.

I just went back and looked at the statues. Some of them are well done. The Zod staue is very detailed, particuarly the armor.

For the most part I've been obssessed with images. Photos and posters. I even go back and look at the photos from Plano from time to time.

For me, this is the book I'm most interested in. I really want to know what powers they let him keep and which ones they took away, if any.

I've never followed a movie this close before either. I certainly did not do this with Superman Returns. I've followed this movie ever since I first heard a rumor about it three years ago. I used to enjoy when they were filming and we would get daily updates and set photos, particularly when they were in Plano and Chicago. Once they went inside the studio, things started to slow down.

I love how Superman has his curl in all these cover art photos. I still think once Superman gets thrown around we might get a few quick shots of curl(s) falling in his face. I'm kinda glad we don't have that in the movie. Something that bugged me about Returns is how Sup would fly around and do all these things, and when he landed his hair would be perfectly styled, curl and all.

As long as it isn't cheesy like The Avengers' ending, I'm down.

A certain display of Powers , certain characters that have been in the back burner given a chance to shine etc .
What do you want to see most ?

I'd like to see Superman aliviate suffering worldwide. Like in Peace on Earth, when he delivers food to all those people in need, you see how happy his presence makes them, and how happy he is in turn to be doing that. It can be really poignant, and it's one of the things that set Superman apart, and...

I've been doing the same thing. It helps me when I get all fanboy on myself. There are tons of pics in there. It probably would have been better if they released those a picture a week whilewe had all that down time.

I would like them to treat Kal El's ship crashing as a UFO crash. Have NASA track it and the goverment send men in contamination suits to approach the site.

I was the same with Batman Begins and Superman Returns but I don't think I've ever been as hyped as I am for Man of Steel. I've not missed a thing so far with this film. I really cannot wait. I'm emailing cinemas like mad to try n get to see an advanced preview.

You also nailed it.

I like the way they did it in Armageddon, showed people from every corner of the world praying and following the heroes. It gave me the spine-tingle-epic feeling that i really urge for. That it is serious for real. I have never got these feelings from watching the current superhero movies.

I really hope that we get this in MOS. If we do, oh man.......

The gauntlets would look cooler if they were shorter, like two circles long tops, which would mke them cuffs, basically. Long ones look really out of place.
