Hey guys, I haven't posted since the trailer hit. Been too busy re-watching it, thinking, and spreading the word to the uninitiated. All I can say is Wow. This trailer really made believers out of my skeptical, non-fan friends. The one who is a film major said he finally got the feel of a complete film with Zimmer's music added into the mix. I still feel stunned and kind of out of it.

Oh right
I forgot they had a scene like that too

Now, that's how you do a modern call back
@Singer.

I like the way his powers seem to be depected. He seems like a Superman but not so overpowered.

Honest question, does anyone (still) think WB has a flop on their hands?

Can't. Stop. Watching.

Do we know anything about this version of the Fortress of Solitude?

I have to admit I still have a tiny fear (not of a flop, but just mediocre box office) just because I don't really understand Joe Six-pack very well. I have a hard time predicting what he will like. As Falcone and Pa Kent have said, people fear what they don't understand.

I liked how baby Kal looked when Jor-El was holding him, very dirty and messy as if he'd just been delivered from the womb. Which is great if you realize the changes they have brought to the mythos.

Starting to wonder if he will get referenced as Superman in the movie.

I feel like Lois will start to call him that in the interview room and get cut off (maybe with the news that Zod has arrived).

Then at the end of the film she will give him the name "Superman" in her news article, which she will narrate in voiceover as the film closes. "To some he was just a ghost who never fit in... now we know him as Superman. The Man of Steel." Or something. Then credits.

Me too, it's a strange feeling. I think it's shock at finally realizing we have a really great film on our hands at last:yay:

so do we known if that score that was playing during the trailer was that the Hans Zimmer "MoS" score? or just stock music?

I do have to say, if that was Zimmer's music in the trailer then... meh. It was even more generic than the music to the Avengers, which is saying a lot.

Could be created from his ship or a scout buried earlier.

I had considered it might be a earlier scout ship that crashed or something. I wouldn't think they'd go with Kryptech building itself again so that seems plausible.

Yes, we know for sure. Hans Zimmer (@HansZimmerMusic) himself tweeted asking "Let us know what you think".

I suspect something like that as well.
