That's not confirmation they're in charge, it's only confirmation of their involvement. Various effects houses are hired to handle all sorts of scenes. This allows several effects shots to be worked on simultaneously.

Look through each of the projects listed on their site. You will see for many of those films, they were only tasked with a couple of key moments, but not all. Iron Man 2 being the most prominent, as ILM spearheaded that project.

True.

I guess we will find out soon enough, if they are the head honchos for the SVX/CGI work.

Double Negative and WETA working together would be a nice combo.

Agreed, and I remember seeing that incident surprisingly happen on LnC first between Superman and Lex.

I believe the "shooting at the bad guy then catching the bullet before it hits him" trick originated in a golden age story.

As long as its not sony image again.

I have a hard time being too critical until seeing in action which I have no doubt will be awesome to see and people will surly have a total change. HC in my opinion when the movie is said and done will be the future generation superman and a little different than we have seen before which is not a bad thing.

Justice League will sell out. If you want that one, go get it early.

They will reprint it. It's the direct market overall, there's almost no risk. And the "sold out" things seems to be just a marketing move. Because they decide how much they print after the pre-orders...

Nah, there will be plenty of copies I expect.

*Fingers crossed*

I believe "sold out" refers to sales from DC to the retailers, not based on sales to the public, no? Which makes sense because the book didn't go on sale until midnight.

everyone is happy about Digital Negative because of batman and harry potter effects. this is all good. but when was the last time that they did cgi skin for close ups? or complex simulations of detailed cape's with 1 cm small folds moving dynamical through the wind?

thank you

Basically the retailers state their demand and DC prints after the accumulated numbers they get from them and some extra. Then they are sold to the shops which means that every copy printed = profit. So there seems to be a demand larger than expected but of course DC can easily reprint. Easily.

Daniel craig had the same sort of crap. He basically said it made him work harder. I would imagine the same will happen zack. Or my reaction to that site. ****em.

I just can't stand the obnoxious little twits who runs sites like that. Is it possible for a person to be more irritating than to make bashing an unreleased movie and movies they hate a hobby?

I'd like to know if this kind of thing goes on when they are making other movies. For example, would any of this be going on during the filming of "The Pianist", or "Schindler's List" or "American History X"? These are important topics truly worth fighting for and trying to do everything you can to make sure that it is done right, but for a superhero movie? Really?

Yep, that site is pretty ridiculous, if you ask me. Trust me, I respect other people's opinion but I hate it when someone does something like that.

U sure its not the same people that ran the other site?? lol

It's a poster from that site I believe.
