For those who don't feel like clicking, here it is: During a DC Comics panel at C2E2 on Saturday, DC/Warner Bros. VP of Marketing John Cunningham shared some brief feedback on the upcoming Man Of Steel movie.

After a fan praised the new Man Of Steel trailer, John Cunningham said, “If you liked that trailer, I’ll tell you the comment one of our executives told me who saw the movie. He said that trailer doesn’t even give you one one hundreth of the action in that movie. So imagine that the next time you see it, which will be soon when you go home I’m sure.”

I believe him but he is the marketing head so....

Well, I feel like Iron Man 3 will feel more "standard" in comparison to the MOS trailer 3, so that might explain the reluctance. And I like RDJ's Tony Stark a lot. I plan on seeing the new movie soon. The first was a truly great film, emotional, intense, and with plenty of humor along the way. The second was.. alright. IM3 looks to be what Skyfall was to Casino Royale, but I hope I'm wrong and it's the best RDJ superhero outing yet.

look at all the reports of how people arent seeing the latest trailer in theaters... im not insinuating anything sinister, but if i really didnt know any better, it would seem kinda fishy...
This type of thing happns all of the time wth trailers.
Maybe some people here havent seen the new trailer but I hardly think it is a national phenomenon.
Nothing fishy at all.
Just normal trailer stuff.

It'll most likely be attached more frequently once it's released in the US.

i know, i know... i just feel so left out from all of you who have seen it in the theaters :(

If it makes you feel better, I have not been to the movies in two weeks,
So, I have not seen trailer 3 yet in theatres .

Just saw the Yahoo poll link and cast my vote. I was the 40000th user to vote for MoS apparently.

Poor poor After Earth ;)

Actually poor poor Wolverine for not being included on that poll. I really think that it'll make money but it'll be lost in the mix.

But it's a whole lotta something to mean nothing. :hmm

I didn't get the MOS trailer with my screening of IM3 either. It was very disappointing. Probably for the better though, there was some loser who yelled out 'GAY' after the STID trailer. But was deadly quiet during the F&F6 trailer .

While it's common knowledge that the use of 'gay' as a slur is horrible.... there is a bit of irony behind that the guy was quiet during the Fast and Furious 6 trailer since the last one (in which I think is the best FF film) was kinda homoerotic. Waka Waka

American Dad did a whole episode on how Homoerotic the Fast and Furious frachise is.

I like Fast and the Furious but it's easily one of the most homoerotic film franchises out there. It's our modern version of Top Gun, instead of Jets it's Cars.

nothing wrong with some bromance avengers and x men first class was filled with homoerotic bromance

You guys that saw IM3 were you impressed?

I was with certain things, one that I will mention is the villain. Imo, best villain an Iron Man movie has had, and the best MCU villain in terms of abilities and pure badassery... Loki is still the best written.

The movie needed more Iron Man scenes, though. And there were times when I felt it was being like Mission Impossible: Ghost Protocol, with the way Stark's tech wasn't working all of the time like it was supposed to.

These moments are really what fill me with the most hope for this movie. It shows that despite all the million dollar action and effects this will still be an intimate film. There's nothing really quite like it in the TDK films, unless you count some Alfred moments. But the most important thing, and what will always make Superman better than Batman to me seems to be accounted for: love. (as lame as that sounds)

I felt that Iron Man 2 lost the heart of the first movie and bogged itself down in too many so called funny gags. Do you think that Iron Man 3 is closer in tone to the first film?

I realize I'm off topic but I rarely visit the Iron Man forums and since it was brought up I decided to ask a question.

Yes it is closer in tone to the first film, but it has more of its own tone. And there are a lot of funny moments in IM3 as well, sometimes humor is used a tad too much imo.

I like the part in the Empire interview where Snyder says that he tried to give it the warmth of a home movie. Just the photos of Clark winning the science fair and happy make me feel soft inside.
