So Zod plans on transforming the Earths surface into another Krypton. Interesting. We should see planet wide destruction then.
I know that hasnt been hinted at, but I bet its there.

Right, but what does that mean? Are Kryptonians mole people? There's nothing really remarkable about the surface of the planet that we've seen.

I guess this thing is terraforming, and it's digging underground structures similar to Krypton?

I think it would be the same if we were forced to find a suitable planet for the surviving human population to move too.
Say we find one, but it is very alien looking to us, so we most likely attempt to change it to look more like the earth that we once knew. we would attempt to plant trees and grasses like we had on earth, and we would also place animal life on it that we once had on earth. Of this I have no doubt. It's our nature.

If an alien species landed here wanting to terraform earth, I dont think they would think any more of us than we would ants that were in our way during a picnic.

I love that this is Zod's plan. It is even more of a sacrifice for Clark and it twists everything he hopes and dreams for in a very grotesque way.

Clark wants to see his planet/home again. Zod returns to offer him that and Clark has to give up any chance of a home like his birth world in order to maintain/save his adoptive world.

I can just see Zod detailing his plan to Superman on a map of the world and then becoming disgruntled upon seeing one place labeled "Dev-Emburg".

If I'm not mistaken, he planned on pretty much nuking the entire planet until there was nothing left. He would then build a new world for himself and his fellow kryptonians.

Just saw the soundtrack listing. If the listings are, in a way, in order of hat happens, then the film will take the Batman Begins approach and show flashbacks while staying in the present. Plus, while not Superman in costume, if this is in order, we will see the oil rig scene and Clark save the day first. Second: the listing confirms what many speculated Zod's plan on Earth would be: terraforming. It doesn't sound like it's Krypton. And finally, What Are You Going To Do When You Are Not Saving The World?, that sounds like the Clark Kent at the Daily Planet scene.

Yeah, but who's asking Clark this? Bet it's Lois. And the tracks definitely aren't in order.

Black Zero is a prison ship. Zod is placed there along with Faora, Tor-An and Dev-Em after they are captured and defeated by Kryptonian militia led by Jor-El. (Basically instead of the Phantom Zone because that isn't real enough)

Zod etc escape and turn the ship into their personal headquarters and since Krypton is destroyed, they follow Kal-El to Earth.

Ggggggggggggggghhhh... I want to listen to it NOW. Especially Look to the stars, that one stinks of beauty. Or This is Clark Kent, which I imagine it'll be one of those things Zimmer allowed himself to experiment on with guitars and whatnot.

Basically what I thought. We won't see "Clark Kent" until the very end.

But what about this set photo of a man looking like Clark getting out of a cab staring upwards during what appears to be chaos (given all the papers flying about)? You can also see Perry and "Jenny" in their run for your lives costumes in the background so it has to be pre-Zod destruction.

It seems to contradict the theory that we don't see Daily Planet Clark until the very end of the film. It can't just be an extra because the man seems to be the focus of the shot based on the camera position.

I'm sure we see the Daily Planet much more than just the last part of the movie because there's pics of Perry and Lois throughout. We may not see Daily Planet Clark Kent until the end, but I'm sure the Daily Planet is in it a bit.

Yeah, but what about the set photo above and others like it? Everything about the shot seems to indicate that it takes place prior to Zod's attack on Metropolis and that Daily Planet Clark is the focus of the shot.
