That's exactly what I want to happen! I will have a huge grin on my face if something simular happens.:woot:
Oh yes. I just hope we see what we discussed earlier, actual casualties shown, or at least the news reports saying that thousands are feared dead or injured.
That's kidstuff compared to what's shown in some PG13 films.

News reports of casualties sounds like a good option.

It's the best of both worlds! A Zimmer/Willaims mashup! [YT]Zimmer/Williamshttp://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=Vk4Scr70Vps[/YT]

I really hope to see him do a feat of strength like lifting a train or a large ship.

EDIT where did everyone go? get over it and keep posting.

Saw that in SR but he only lifted a half of a ship.

The man flies into an alien's ship laser cannon, what more could you want?!?! :argh:

:o

MOAR!!!! and lots of it.

can't wait to see more tv spots and HOPEFULLY character posters...

Going to see Star Trek in IMAX tomorrow. Fingers crossed this time they'll have the new trailer on that lovely huge screen. It'll be glorious...

I wouldn't hold my breath if I were you

Because nothing says "Superman" like "thousands of people dead." :whatever:

This isn't a Miracleman movie.

So you don't think there wouldn't be casualties with super beings fighting and flying around wrecking stuff??....your confusing me right now

Maybe something slightly subtle, like Lois telling Perry, "people are dying out there! We gotta do something!"

And woa, sorry mods!!! I'll keep it in check and thanks for all your hard work :hrt:

"Endure."

:o

No one said we need to see hundreds of bodies piled up. They just need to convey the danger, tension and actual loss. That's one thing I felt was sorely lacking from The Avengers.
All of that destruction and little sense of danger. Kind of like when DBZ was heavily edited for the U.S.
A news chopper was blown up but they put in this throwaway line about seeing their parachutes. Killing any sense of danger.

So, in the spirit of watching a live TV spot, I turned to CBS and NBC for two hours. I got to see an inspired Iron man and an inspired Star Trek commercials... and lots of car advertisement. Those guys really wanted me to buy a car.

No MOS trailer, though... ::sighs::

^ That's the thing, when innocents die, we SHOULD feel Superman's anger. We should wince when people get crushed. We should even feel upset now and then, and root Supes on when he can prevent a tragedy. By the end, I want us to all clap as Supes pulverizes Zod with all his powers.

Yep, I'm not asking for grim n gritty stuff. I'm not asking to see blood running in the street or bodies.

I'm just asking for an acknowledgement that people died. I'm not saying they should linger on that fact but I don't want it comically glossed over either.

One of my favourite Superman moments from 'The Mad Scientist'.
