Love the promo images, especially the one with Faora in her Kryptonian wear, very sexy for a woman in an armor get up.

I'm aware of set reports about fights in a train station and Zod throwing train like a toy. Superman standing on the top of train isn't a new image. In Lester's Superman II, there is a Metropolis battle featuring Ursa & Non throwing a bus full of people at Superman. After saving the bus & people, Superman climb to the top and stand there with his cape blowing in the wind.

Is that a nice call back? lol.

Cool, we keep hearing about the similarities between Birthright, Earth One but this is the first I've heard Last Son crop up. Who knows what else is in this film!

And that Superman on a bus pic from Superman II is epic, I hope some of the sets from MoS rival that in terms of scale.

It is a call back IMO. Maybe not for Snyder or others, for all I know Snyder could have took idea from one of the graphic novels.

The iconography of Superman with cape blowing in wind atop a wreakage,be it a train, truck or bus, in building or not, is there. Not too hard to see that there were several variations of it.

It will for sure, besides the EW article if you look at the full cast and crew you'll find numerous casts regarding a train scenario (train mom, train dad, train girl, train ticket buyer, train station commuter, train station survivor)
