What scene are you talking about?

If you are talking about the one on the street, if that is Clark, then that scene takes place before the Smallville battle and Clark is working there. I would think it would be when Black Zero starts to hover over the city. Think of the shot of Zod overlooking from his ship.

We also see a shot of Perry and Jenny in the office looking at something in the very same cloths.

Of course this all depends on if that is actually Cavill.

Also, bare in mind. We have not seen Cavill in the glasses. He is going to start working at the DP without them, and then add them later?

Yeah, I am talking about the crowd scene in the street. You could be right that the Black Zero first appears by hovering over Metropolis. That would make a lot of sense given how the spy photos unfold. There are some of the same scene where people are acting quite normally and then others where papers are scattered on the ground and people are looking up in the sky, but none of them running like in the UK TV Spot. Granted, that would make more sense than Superman going back to Metropolis as Clark after the action has started with Zod in some ways.

However, that would seem to conflict with the articles mentioning that Zod and company's first appearance on Earth being in Smallville. It would make more sense for them to go to Smallville first to investigate a signal or something from Kal-El's rocket than to appear over Metropolis first.

Nevertheless, I still think there could be a lull in the action. I believe there have been a few interviews stating that Zod is not a traditional, one-dimensional villain and that Superman is conflicted about him and what to do since Zod's group is the only other surviving Kryptonians. Maybe after the Battle of Smallville and the events involving the Black Zero, Superman thinks that he has peacefully resolved things with Zod or has given him an ultimatum, hoping that he will leave Earth alone peacefully. It would make sense for him to go to Metropolis in disguise and wait Zod out. Be there to protect Metropolis just in case.

Most movies are bloated now or days, it's not a deal breaker to me but I do find it to be annoyimg.

They cast her as Anne Frank hopefully because she was the best for the part. She also looks like the character, especially in the cheek area.

I'm not saying they cast her because she looks Jewish.

I have been to plenty of productions where historically white characters were played by non-white actors and actresses. It happens for many reasons.

Allow me to repeat myself: The Diary of Anne Frank is a story about what Anne Frank had to face as a young Jewish girl during the holocaust. Being Jewish is part of the central theme of the story. This isn't the same as casting Laurence Fishburne as Perry White; it's more like casting Laurence Fishburne as Abraham Lincoln.

No one was stating it as a fact.

Exhibit A:

Jimmy as always been presented as being Caucasian and I the actress portraying Jenny isn't. It'd be like saying a Asian character is the full-blooded sibling of a french character.
