You are kidding, right? That sort of gasping for air shot while trapped in a confined space is extremely common. There is nothing unique about it.

That scene actually reminds me of The Dark Knight Returns, when Superman is weakened from the nuclear blast which blots out the sun.

Where did I say it was unique? The way the shot is framed is nearly identical to a shot of Lois in the drowning boat. It doesn't imply anything. Just something I noticed.
