Either Jor-El is alive or that is a damn eerily real hologram.

Yeah its a head scratcher. I'm thinking really realistic hologram, it would fit in line with how ridiculously technologically advanced Krypton is.

I wonder if how real Jor El looks will add to the emotional impact on Clark. There's no static, no blue haze, it looks like his Dad is stood right in front of him, and then the hologram finishes, cuts out, leaving Clark alone... Before the suit rotates into view.

It's been confirmed via the Man of Steel Art book. However that doesn't mean he won't be able to create braniac if that's the rumor we are still on.

Cool. He has a perfect look for Jax-Ur, at least if his head is shaved. I had never seen him act before, but I just watched a clip of him playing Lex on Smallville and he was pretty damned creepy. Seems like a good fit.

As for the Brainiac stuff, that's just some speculation from comicbook.com, but it would be cool if it happens. Latino Review said a long time ago that Brainiac would have some sort of role in the movie, so it's possible. Similar rumors also popped up on cosmicbullsh**news.com, but I wouldn't trust that awful site.

In the U.S it did, which is why the sort of sequel is bringing back Jackman and the original actors.

Definitely not great numbers. I was surprised. I don't know if I'd call it incredibly under whelming considering the taste in people's mouths from X3, but if MOS doesn't at least double XMFC's domestic gross it'll been another seven years... if even then.

Yeah, it will be pretty soul-crushing of MOS isn't a huge blockbuster. This film NEEDS to be a hit both critically and commercially to ensure that Superman--and any other DC hero not named Batman--has a future on the big screen.

Not sure how it is a head scratcher? Imagine a 3D holographic Siri programmed to anticipate every conceivable question that Kal-El might ask. In the golden age comics they showed Kryptonians possessing a kind of 3D holographic 'theatre in the round' TV. Perhaps this is a nod to that?

Sorry just re-read your post in a little more detail and see you posited essentially the same conclusion as me lol!

I've been feeling bad. I think I took 9 years of disliking the humor complaints from other fans out on you. I know not everyone likes the same thing and again I could roll my eyes in the theater when I hear the line and not like it. We can agree to disagree in the context of the ad.

So, forgive me for that.

I see.

I hope you guys predictions win out over mine. I'd love for it to (be good first and foremost) and hit 300mil.

I can imagine living with a creepily sentient, lifelike hologram of your dad.

Superman returns to the FOS after a long day of saving the world.

Jor-El Hologram: "My son you have returned. When are you and Lois going to get married? Where are my grandkids? And.........where is my Big Mac?"

Superman (thinking): "If only he had programmed an off button on this thing."

Happy birthday Kane! Great poster and king of gifs. :)

Those tv spots......If this movie bombs its gonna break my heart. Am gonna be majorly depressed.

Really want to see the "You are a Monster" spot in HD or on tv. And we are missing 10 seconds of it. since it begins with the Zack Synder part.

First of all, Happy Birthday Kane.

Secondly, I have the ability to download vids and I a full version of PS CS5.5. However I couldn't begin to use one with other and great a gif to stop a bullet to my head.

Are you aware specifically of any easy-to-use, step-by-stop, non-two hour long YT tutorials on the matter? I know I can check google and the other usual suspects and I probably will, just didn't know if you had one or two off-hand that you were aware of because I thought I heard you mention before that's how you learned.

Thanks in advance.

Also, Superman. Carry on. :yay:
