hey PowerCosmic and DaJanksta, hope you both enjoy MOS tomorrow!!

we'll all be here..........waiting.

Fantastic TV spot. For the first time I truly feel like we're getting Superman. Love the power the action/take-offs give.

I will actually probably be leaving the boards after I hear from Power and Janksta. Flying home on Thursday to be with the Family. Then will come back after I watch it to give my reaction and hopefully hit my 1000 post mark then I will leave you guys again. I shall not be missed!

And if you don't enjoy don't come back. If you ever come back we'll kill ya!!!

Ok only kidding. But the Lion King is straight up BOSS!

Superman has to kneel down on one knee before he takes off to fly?? looks like it, since every time we have seen him take off he does kneel to the ground.

And thanks about the tv haha it was the first purchase when I bought my house

we did the same thing when we bought our first home a few years ago. I got a hugenormous 70 inch now, but I can't even watch it:( I tried to steal it but would not fit in my carry on! plus the whole 110 to 220 conversion crap bites!

Not every time :( But come on you gotta crack the ground on take off!! Its violent!!

Looks more like a jump. Nevermind you're right he is on one knee there.

I am cool with whatever, actually LOVE that take off, Epic take offs Look good

I'm pretty sure he's on a mission when he takes off from the runway there. The fact that it shows him floating makes me think he could do a slow takeoff if he wanted, but why bother? It would be kinda comedic to see him fly away from the military at like 20mph lol

Yeah it is. I'm just seeing so many parallels to the "risky" approach to MOS, and TLK. Also there's the combination of a hyperstylized director (Allers) and a more "classic Disney one" (Minkoff).

Of course, I think Snyder's flexible to pull off both minimalism and scale (though he tends to do better with the latter), but the combination of two different approaches actually HELPED TLK to be the movie it was.

I don't know if MOS will be "The Lion King" of superhero movies. But I want it to be. The character deserves it.

Holy crap... He really f'ed that door up. There's no way anyone is getting that thing back on its hinges.

I don't care if he's going for a crap before take-off. lol It looks epic beyond belief. I wouldn't change a thing!

yeah, a huge jump! Maybe he cannot fly forever, but has to come down at some point?

Flying probably takes energy, so he might be tired. Besides, that's a neat allusion to leaping buildings in a single bound :)

:funny:

It's a familiar shot, but the one with him covered in flames and not caring is splendid. We haven't seen anything like that before in the movies.

that was pure awesomeness.

lol, comedy relief. Synder doesn't do the Slo mo scenes, but makes Superman take off at under 20mph.
