I don't think this film should be compared to Nolans batman movies because there was no element of fantasy in them, it was a thriller than a scifi movie. I think the best SCIFI comic movie itself would be between Avengers and Iron Man movies and this could easily top those critically if not $$$$ wise

Iron Man 3 was a sequel to Iron Man 1 and 2 and those were much newer films. All the Superman films are either dated or bad.

Showing the previous films isn't going to hurt BO

I'll start getting my questions ready!! there are some pressing issues I'm dying to get resolved and clarified!! :woot:

oh, and are you and DaJanksta going to stick around to see if there will be any mid or post credit scene?

cuz you never know if a certain bald businessman, blonde goddess, or evil AI might show up..........
We sure as hell will. We will watch those credits just in case but I doubt there will be one...Even though I love them...

well IF they dnt like it, it will prolly mirror alot, but not all, of opinions we will have.
same if they love it.. either way, I hope folks show RESPECT.

LMAO! AGH!!!! Just gotta get through my jogging class tomorrow morning at 830am, go talk to my admissions office, then get a quick workout in so I can eat ******ed amounts of burritos. Then I'm off and will be FLYING to the planet Houston.

A class about jogging? Ron Burgundy would be all over that!! But I believe they would call it yogging, with a soft J.

I really should have went to a brick and mortar school if they offer jogging as a class:csad:

I have a feeling some posters are going to accomplish the opposite of wonders.

I remember the night RIM posted his review. Poor guy got attacked by a pack of rabid dogs for no reason and in the end a lot of people agreed with his assessment of the film.

folks can at least act civil if the worst happens. id rather know to lower my expectations ahead of time.
not that I think we have cause to worry or anything.

Man. That's freaking nuts.

any word on a exclusive print/poster for the IMAX Midnight viewing?

He was a big Spider-Man fan who had closely followed the film for months and he saw an early screening of it and he basically compared it to Green Lantern. And the boards went ape-****.

This is accurate.

I, as a Spider-Man/ASM fan, do not condone what they did, but I don't think he had to react as he did.

After that incident, he just left the forums never to be seen again.

Not even outside of the ASM threads.

Good question. No, but that'd be tight. I have my Amazing Spider-Man one framed on my wall. I think their white borders are a nice touch.

There should be one for MOS though!
