guys, don't know if any of you have been reading through the Review and Speculation thread. if you have read the spoilers there, you'll know what I'm talking about.

but, just want to warn you guys, there "may" be some major plot point that could be fairly divisive.

we'll find out and confirm if it's true when our friends get back from their screening.

but...........want to give you guys a heads up......

so..........brace yourselves.........

Sadly I know this Major Plot point. By accident cause I certainly didn't want to know it We don't have to discuss this here as it's been discussed to death, but it doesn't bother me, IF, they did it correctly and if they use it as a springboard in later films.

I've been trying to come to terms with it since I found out last night.

I think I can live it......provided the context and performance is really good.

I just don't want this place to meltdown and have another RIM incident.

The "Rim incident" wasn't because he gave TASM a bad review, it was because people are jerks. If people are just nice and respectful it won't matter if they like or hate MOS or any other movie/topic/story/etc etc.

a poster named RIM gave his review of Amazing Spider-man. it wasn't pretty. he compared it to Green Lantern and said it was like they smashed his favorite Spider-man action figure into pieces.

other posters got mad at him and got on his case, and he left the board and never came back.

let's NOT do that on this board when PowerCosmic, DaJanksta, and other posters share their thoughts on the movie.

RIM was a user on these boards for some time. He posted a non-favorable review of TASM on that board and all hell broke lose. Personal attacks, banter, any and everything you can think of to attack him to the point where he left the boards and shut down his twitter. All over a review of a movie.

I'd be willing to bet that they made each person either check there phones in or made sure that they turned them off. I'm also sure that the theater have people watching the crowd like hawks.
