I'm in the car so after the drive home I'll say more. But for now? THIS MOVIE F**KING ROCKED MY SOCKS OFF! And you actually cared about the characters. Henry IS Superman. He embodies the character completely. I think you guys will love it! Also, the action blew my mind.

Oh hell yeah!!

:woot::hrt: Thank you DaJanksta and ThePowerCosmic for your reactions!

Sitting in the parking lot thinking about my 2 hour drive home...

MOS was... Idk I'm pretty speechless. I loved it. It's my favorite superhero. It's not better than tdk to me. It's so ****ing bad ass though. I need to see it again. I gotta drive home... 8.5/10 I seriously wish it was a 3 hour movie...

Just holy ****... It's awesome... :D the movie I've been waiting for. Superman is back.

Especially when it's plastered in essentially a film that people see as a 'spin off' for him from Batman. (spin off doesn't really work as a term here, but you get my point)

yeah, Very sad.

It's been said before: If the film is good, people will credit Nolan. If the film is bad, they will blame it on Snyder. :hehe:

Thanks you two, appreciate you chiming in with your brief initial reaction. I'm sure you'll have more to say, but I am not sure I am going to read it. I'm almost content going to bed til June 15 hahaha.

Fantastic to hear. Absolutely fantastic.

When it comes to the Nolan name it's not surprising. I'm not even a giant Superman fan (I like him but always gravitated towards Batman), but once I saw Nolan's name apart of this, no matter what the job actually was, it brought in a sense of major excitement and massive quality expectations. But I'll tell you, the thing Nolan did that I like the most was get Zack Snyder on as director because I've always liked Zack Snyder. (To this day I'm still impressed that he made Watchmen work IMO) He just needed the right material and the right minded people behind him and he has it here big time. I'm very happy for Snyder and I know I'll do my part to not let people forget he directed this.

We're having a RIM situation here!! But in a positive way! :p

I would actually be shocked if people came on claiming that it is BETTER than TDK! Don't believe that will happen. But can it somehow compete with it, do you think?

And will one be emotionally invested in the story and the characters? That's all I need to know.

Well a man can't actually fly, unsure if you knew this. :cwink:

I don't get that at all from reading that. I feel like he's trying to say that the action is intense, just like fighting Mike Tyson for 12 rounds. Didn't see anything mentioning "bad" or "cheesy" CGI in any way.

You could just be kidding, and sarcasm over the internet is impossible to detect...
:funny:

So easy.

Did you get sad?! Were there any funny scenes?! How were the performances?!

I feel an odd sense of relief now that we have some rave reviews from Hypesters.

One question -- lots of people have said they literally cried. Was it very emotional?
