No, Bruce is too busy hooking up with Barbara Gordon to worry about Lois.
To this day, that still blows my mind.

He's an actor, actors play different types of roles. Heath Ledger didn't come across as psychotic or insane before TDK, and we all know how well that turned out.

Megan Fox is a glorified underwear model. I can throw Anne Hathaway or Chris Evans in as well if you want. Lex/Ra's team up could be interesting.
So you're assuming every actor has the same acting skills as Ledger?
Megan Fox is an actor. Actors play different roles. Heath Ledger. Derp.
No the point he was making is that you can't judge how an actor will play a role based on their previous roles....Each actor approaches a each role from a different place.
Is a Flash movie confirmed? I saw someone just said something about Chris Hunham (sp?) being part of the project...? Inb4BSrumour
That's still a weak point. Heath Ledger's acting talents were already recognized before TDK. Being able to be chameleon actors like Daniel Day-Lewis and Ledger in TDK is not the same thing as just taking on a different roles. Each actor has different ranges and most can't drastically transform themselves.
With a character like Bruce, it's smarter and more practical to cast someone who already has similar qualities.
Similar qualities like intense and scruffy looking?
Thats not at all how Hollywood casts movies. That's why that have casting sessions.
Yes it is how they do it, and there are different ways to cast FYI.
You ever heard of a casting call? They narrow actors who possess certain qualities, then they go through individual auditions.

They go through several levels of Casting. They put out word for actors in what ever qualities they deem are important to the character. example: White male, 20s, 30s.....
after that then they have the actor/actress read lines and see how they interpret the role. They are given some direction to change their performance just to test how well they can act and take direction.
That is if they don't already have someone in mind and trust me I am pretty sure they do.

No, I don't trust anyone who asks to be trusted.![]()
So you think WB is announcing a Superman/Batman movie, had someone make a logo...and not had someone in mind for Batman?
They didn't even write it yet. If they didn't write it yet, they don't know what age Batman is going to be and other qualities so why would they have someone in mind at this point.
Side note, we don't even know how permanent that logo is. Zack Snyder said he pulled up the Dark Knight Returns references just as a fun geeky way to reveal the news. That Batman symbol is the Dark Knight Returns symbol.
They didn't even finish writing it yet. If they didn't write it, they don't know what age Batman is going to be and other qualities so why would they have someone in mind at this point.
Because directors always have someone in mind. I guarantee you that Zack has someone in mind...probably has a secondary and a third choice too. The minute he pitched this to WB I can guarantee one of the questions asked was who?
I'm pretty much in "Whatever" mode after MOS. Based on that and how the Superman/Batman relationship is popularly shown, I'm not surprised they opened it with that quote. So, I'm prepared for Superman to look like some kind of idiot.
Thing to remember about the Dark Knight Returns us it's else worlds but its Los the most high profile meeting between the two so I think they just used the quote cause its so memorable.
I think the first three X-Men films are a good indication as to what we can expect from Batman and Superman when you think about Wolverine and Cyclops.
Yup
Actually, I think the thing to remember is that Snyder likes Miller's work.
He gained success with the adaption of '300' and is producing the sequel.
Not to mention how they ended it with Superman making friends with the military and assuring them he only has America's interests at heart and is on their side...
Oh god, I think I feel sick.![]()
Yeah unfortunately Wolverine popped into my head too...
