Clive Owen is my pick for Ares too. So, I'm with you there.

Clive Owen is a good actor. I would be happy with Owen as Ares.

I think Eric Bana would make a good Ares as well but I'm not sure he would want to do another comic book movie.

Another potential Ares who is a slightly lesser known actor is Tamer Hassan. Hassan played Ares in Clash Of The Titans and was in Sucker Punch.

Rory McCann (Game Of Thrones The Hound) and Vincent Regan (Captain Artemis in 300 & Eudorus in Troy) would also be good candidates.

Seeing there is going to be some time spent in the UK, how bad do we think the tabloid coverage is going to be?

It'll depend on whether they'll shoot outdoors or inside a studio. The interest is definitely there so I'm sure we'd get some paparazzi pics every time they shoot anything outdoors.

Outdoors it will be crazy especially if you're someone known. If Gal is spotted in the WW outfit then...yeah. But they're filming in Shepperton/Pinewood studios...I think so they'll be fine.

Given those grim statistics we've seen recently about the paltry number of behind the scenes jobs for women in the film industry, it was pretty cool to hear Deborah Snyder specify that they tried to hire a lot of women on the crew for WW, as well as Patty Jenkins to direct.

IF it's indoors then we at least have pics of the actors arriving. UK is far more "gossip-like" than Toronto

Even so we may get papparazzi pics of the actor arriving to the set or in the city, etc...

I have no issue with Snyder's level of secrecy but it would be more fun if Jenkins was more along the lines of Ayer.

Anyway, Mayimbe is saying the movie is going to take place in WWI and present time. At least we know it's probably NOT gonna be like that
