All Things Wonder Woman: An Open Discussion - Part 1

Anyone mind getting me caught up to speed?
- Movie is shooting soon™ in London.
- The kid from Kingsman: Secret Service is rumoured to play Lennox (Diana's half-brother).
- Hoyte Van Hoytema (Interstellar, Spectre) denied claims that he's the cinematographer for the movie.

Things will start dropping soon enough. It's still just the beginning of September but they are starting to really gear up so the info will start flowing, or at least as much info as we can get out of a DCEU production.

I just wonder if we're going to we're going to get a whole block of official info dropped on us all at once, or if we'll get our info bit by bit.

Do you guys think we're going to see a set pic before the end of the year?

I won't believe this is happening until Gal herself takes a pic with Patty and Pine.

Can anyone recommend me good episodes of the Justice League cartoons or any of DCs animated films where Wonder Women is the main focus? I know there was an animated film in 2009, was it any good? It is a pity that she did not have her own animated series like Batman and Superman did. It could have been great IMO.

It was good, check it out. It's flawed but a good introduction to the character.

Yeah, the 2009 animated movie is good. And "Superman/Batman: Apocalypse" showcases WW well.

As for the JL episodes:

The first episode has a short, different introduction to WW as she joins the League.

There's also:

Paradise Lost
Fury
The Savage Time - features Steve Trevor in World War II
Maid of Honor
Hawk and Dove
This Little Piggy
To Another Shore
Grudge Match

I also recommend the original TV series pilot/TV movie with Lynda Carter for a pretty good origin/introduction.

Can't go wrong with the 2009 DTV. I love it. If it's flawed it's flawed in the same way all the DTVs are, which is trying to pack so much into a little over an hour. Willi listed some great JL/JLU episodes. Hawk And Dove and To Another Shore are great showcases as is the episode where Diana and Hawkgirl go to the realm of Hades.

Oh yeah, that episode is "The Balance". Forgot that. It's a good one.

Thanks. I will check them out.
