Well today's been a year since WB announced the Wonder Woman film so here's hoping that lucks in our favor and we get some casting soon.

This dude gave London and italy filming info way before the trades so i kinda trust him.

I really wish I could trust him. Why can't I be a naive fool and trust unquestionably at least once? I'd be much happier right now.

Indeed. Still, no paps and no trades caught this, but some random guy on IMDB forums did... if we don't get any more credible info by the end of this day, I'll say that it's a bull.

I'm not defending the guy, he could not know and just be guessing for all I know. I'm just saying that it makes sense that some second unit stuff would be shooting right now.

As for the trades, WB are very secretive so who knows if anybody would catch it.

Oh boy is it frustrating how secretive they are being. As I said I don't like them being this secretive with this particular project because I want proof that it is finally really happening. If we don't get any casting in November we will be getting some bad news that's forsure.

Second Unit usually doesn't feature the main actors plus if it's mostly studio based then it's unlikely we'll have any leaked images.

I got you. As for being secretive, they certainly do a good job with it, but given that both films' early shootings, BvS and "Suicide Squad", were caught by trades, I kinda expect it to be the case with WW as well.

And it certainly is frustrating. The fact that it's WW and that we all know how female-led films were treated in the past makes this lack of news much worse.

I forget, did we get any info about calls for extras going out or anything yet? If so, could we gauge the timing of filming maybe from that?

No, of course, though it definitely should happen before JL.
I don't want to sound like the "DC has no plan and will surely fail" lot, but if DCEU gets founded only on Batman and Superman, I will personally consider that a failure. Familiarizing the audience with the Trinity before the "Justice League" kicks in, makes a huge difference as opposed to having only Batman and Superman fleshed out to us.

No I agree with you, Wonder Woman's film should come out before Justice League. Jumping into Justice League without another member or two's solo/non Justice League film sounds like a horrible idea.

I think we're all pretty nervous at this point. And that's the thing I don't quite get - you'd think WB would be a bit more up front with proof that this film is really happening given its rocky past. They've been featuring WW pretty heavily for BvS, so why the radio silence here? Something feels like it's not adding up.

Nah WB doesn't care about how obnoxious their secrecy is. This is just something that they like doing. If BvS and Suicide Squad are good and big hits I hope they ****ing stop this cloak and dagger crap. Again I've never been calling for them to have announcement parties, I've never felt that was something they had the right to do this early nor I am dying for them to do that.
