Now that he has been confirmed I ask this question: How would everyone feel if the film doesn't rush Diana and Steve into a romance by the film's end? Sure, make it that there is an obvious attraction, one beyond it just being physical, but don't have a big kiss scene ect. How would you all react? Would that seem a smack against the WW character? In that she gets her own film but unlike all the male super heroes she doesn't "get the guy" at the end. Or, would that be forward thinking and show that the first female super hero films doesn't have to follow all the same story beats and tropes that most of the male ones do?

I wouldn't be disappointed if Steve and Diana didn't kiss in the film and had more of a friendship/attraction. I doubt WB would allow that but it would be a nice change of pace.

I just want WW to get laid. Male or female, I don't care. It's just pretty damn ironic that Marston created WW around the S&M bondage themes and then somehow this character evolved into the 75 yr old virgin.

It's been heavily implied that she and Superman have "done the nasty" in the New 52. Heck there was a recent issue of SM/WW where they laying in bed together with her wearing nothing but his shirt. Also, the writers have implied that she's slept with Steve before.

Anyway, Pine excels at what I like to call "badass, kinda" characters. Characters who you'd THINK would be really badass, and kind of are, but also get "taken down a peg" a lot. Heck, how many times has he already gotten his butt kicked in only two ST films? in ST09, he gets beaten up in a bar fight, beaten up by random Romulan, beaten up by Zachary Quinto, and beaten up by Eric Bana. Then in STID, he gets beaten up by Benedict Cumberbatch.

So I doubt that there's much danger of him "overshadowing" her script-wise. Now if Gal's acting isn't up to par, well then that'd be a different story, but we'll see.

I would prefer Steve Trevor as her love interest over Superman or Batman.

I guess I'm a purist too, as I do want her to be with Trevor. But they eventually have to show them waking up in bed or something. She can't stay the eternal virgin, lol. Of course what I'd really like is a scene of her tying Steve up in bed, that'd be awesome!

Indications so far are that it's Pinewood and Shepperton. I think I'm right in saying that Leavesden is prepping for Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them as its next production. What's booked at Pinewood and Shepperton?

Star Wars Rouge One is filming at Pinewood and that will be followed by Star Wars episode 8.

Doctor Strange is filming at Shepperton this fall.

I guess Wonder Woman could film at Shepperton after Doctor Strange wraps. They could start filming there in early 2016

This should of course be taken with a healthy dose of skepticism given the source, but someone on the IMDB board for the movie claiming some inside knowledge is saying it'll shoot in the UK, Rome and maybe Iceland. If that's correct, maybe they're only making limited use of sound stages in the UK.

I agree. No forced romance. More of a fun, competitive , flirtatious type of relationship in the flim where they begin to develop their relationship. Kinda like a Mr and Mrs Smith narrative.

I would say that they don't even kiss at the end of the film. They come close....but that would happen in the Justice League film.

Sounds good if true. Want to see some exotic location shooting. I think it is also very important for WB's and Jenkins to hire a good 2nd Unit crew...especially for action and fight scenes/sequences.

Good! Glad they're reaching out to the comic book writers. Definitely one of the plusses of having DC under Warner Brothers' roof.

Every indication is that the film shoots in the fall. Justice league is shooting next year.

Pinewood, Shepperton and Leavesden are big soundstages so they can accommodate more than one film at a time, I imagine Rome wil be used as Themyscira as well as using Cinecittà which is a studio that has been by Cleopatra, the HBO/BBC series Rome to name but a few productions. The 1978 Superman was meant to film there but moved to England

According to Deborah Snyder Gal Gadot blew them away in her audition, she "was Wonder Woman" when they did a test of her acting with Ben Affleck
Deborah cried when she first saw the costume
She has brutal and kick ass fight scenes
She is a catalyst for the Justice League
