All Things Wonder Woman: An Open Discussion - Part 1

Something I posted on the Hype months ago, which could make sense:

If DC, Warner Bros, Zack Snyder and Chris Terrio play their cards right, Wonder Woman could be the next great cinematic female icon.

The potential for Wonder Woman to be the new strong female that young girls can champion behind, and result in serious dollars/a new revenue stream for Warner Bros.

It will be smart business to do it, because Carol Danvers has her own fanbase called the Carol Corps, who are passionate and supportive of their hero.

The general audience, especially young women will want to be enthusiastic and excited about Wonder Woman and her solo movie.

It can very well could result to cosplays, fan art and Fan-Fiction, things that female fans are known for doing creatively and passionately in the fandom world.

I think the information in the Empire articles about WW are in line with what I wrote months ago.

But Wonder Woman is still the biggest female icon there is. The fanbase would just expand. It doesn't need to be created.

Holkenborg gets silenced for just talking about the score and saying BvS is good, yet this Soki guy tweets out the Batman factory fight is his favourite scene and WB's ninjas let him go.

He calls Based Kevin his mentor tho. I do believe he is part of the WW team. Soki is practically only known on here. lol

A bit of both. He doesn't really say anything specific most of the time tho. Ehmaybe confirmed that he works for WB, but was not aware of his new position.

When did BVS start production? Because I'm looking on Deadline, and it says that Eisenberg/Irons were announced the end of January in 2014. I kind of have to imagine the supporting cast of WW would be announced in that kind of time frame...

Principal photography with the main cast of BvS started on 19 May 2014.

We've not heard any other casting rumour besides the Eastwood/Pine Steve Trevor ones. It's weird seeing as we're at most a couple of months away from production beginning.

WB will likely be drip feeding information before and during shooting, I suspect casting and negotiations are still ongoing hence the lack of news.
