All Things Wonder Woman: An Open Discussion - Part 1

In her English speaking roles all she has been given to do is play a sexy chick, sometimes a sexy tough chick. We will get to see if she can do more than that, in the Wonder Woman solo film especially. I do expect her to have a good role in Dawn of Justice of course but getting to be the lead in a film is a different thing of course.

These days, the WW board is the first I visit before going to the SS and BvS boards. Really anticipating some news.

Me too. I can't wait for some more verified casting announcements to drop. And I do hope Jenkins will feed us at least a couple of tidbits during filming. I doubt it will be Ayer level, but a few bts glimpses would be awesome.

All this waiting has felt interminable, lol. At least from this point forward, given the DCEU's announced slate, there will pretty much always be at least one film in production we can be getting news on while we wait for the next one to come out. t:

You guys think that there is any chance Wonder Woman moves it's release date to where Pacific Rim 2 was supposed to be at on August 4th, 2017? It is in a tough spot being sandwiched between Toy Story 4 and Minions 2. They could potentially take a chunk of Spider-Man's box office with this move, which opens the week before, and also it would have all of August without serious competition to maximizes it's BO haul.

I still prefer someone like Ed Harris to be Ares ("aryan-like", as Ares had been portrayed in comics - after crisis - and the animated movie, and older, like the New 52)

And Gerard Butler as Zeus

Momoa would have been a great New 52 Zeus but now it's too late

EDIT: Daniel Craig as Ares would be great.

Remember the Phantom Zone was opened different what if it acted like a portal.. Imagine if she landed in Apokolips or in Earth-3 for a Crime Syndicate type of movie

Some spanish news site is reporting that Natalie Portman will be in the film and would no doubt stir controversy amongst fans etc. I ain't even going to link it, but there is nothing else to talk about.

Portman would be cool.
