I'm not ignoring anything, you were insinuating I was not aware of the post production process in film, and I'm choosing not to continue the conversation any further because of that assumption.

Geez, are you quick to insult today, for whatever reason. Fine, suit yourself.

JMC's suggestion that BvS influenced the color-correction on this is hardly "negativity." That movie got a poor reception, and criticism for its "darkness." Suddenly we have footage from this that looks SIGNIFICANTLY brighter than what we saw of it before, plus JL footage comprised almost entirely of jokes. It's a natural conclusion to draw.

Or it could simply be part of the usual color correction, that is all I was saying. But apparently I am treating JMC like an idiot by adding this to his post.

Negativity gets old after a while...JMC only shows up in threads where he/she can piss on everyone's fun. Notice they havent been in the Suicide Squad threads since the tracking info proved his/her doom and gloom wrong :D
Sucks for them they're not feeling the new DC movies. Oh well. Not my problem. They can find something else to follow I guess. Others like yourself and me will enjoy the ride and follow the developments with enthusiasm for the many years ahead. It's going to be fun. :yay:

Yes, but then ignoring anyone who points out that such color changes are quite common from trailer to trailer (for movies across genres with or without connections to other movies) coupled with their constant negativity in other threads about anything having to do with the universe tends to make them seem negative.

No one is saying they have to like anything, or they have to even be positive but this is a pattern with this specific poster. They wait until something happens people are happy about, they randomly show up to rain on the parade (and then get defensive when called out for it) then disappear. I mean JMC can do that if it makes him/her feel better, none of us are saying otherwise, but we have just as much right to call JMC out for this as JMC does to come in here and be a wet blanket...

Look at how JMC reacted to Killerwolf suggesting a different explanation to why the colors changed...all of a sudden they were implying he/she was "an idiot" and took at as some sort of besmirching. Now maybe he/she is having a bad day, maybe someone in another thread attacked him/her and set him/her off but that is a bit of an overreaction to a couple of pretty innocuous posts.

Please pardon me for arguing with you flickchick I am not trying to cause anything, just saying that some of us have seen this act before. I mean no disrespect to you or your opinions (or JMC's for that matter, he/she can hate or love anything that is their right) just giving my $.02 that isnt worth that much with inflation :)

On another topic...watched the trailer again and it is still awesome :)

Just what I've gotten so far. Haven't seen her do anything really great, but she I like what I've seen so far for the most part. Her role in BVS didn't feel substantial enough for me to really gauge her as an actress, but I thought she did a solid job with the material she was given and I like what I see in the trailer so far and I have more faith in Jenkins getting good performances out of her actors than Snyder.

Then again, Flickchick put it better right after that anyway. :funny:

I'm just here to say I love your icon and the 4AF mention :waa:

That is only because she isn't Snyder. :funny: Have you actually seen any of her work?

FC usually does that. It embarrasses the rest of us. :csad:

... You mean Jenkin's work that got Charlize Theron her oscar? I agree, based on that alone, that Jenkin's can probably work better with actors than Snyder.

Can I just say, Robin Wright looks like a complete badass here.

Actually, someone told him it was "movie-making 101," which yes, does have an air of condescension about it, so I can see why he would take it that way, instead of people drawing the obvious conclusion that perhaps he meant the color correction was MORE than the usual as a result of trying to make the overall film brighter for a pretty likely reason.

Cautiously optimistic. Lots to love in the trailer but we have been fooled by trailers in the past. Love the colour palet and that not too much of the story has been given away.

DC movies tend have extremely well cut trailers and this was no exception.

Isn't that Connie Nielsen above? And I didn't realise she's taller than Gal.
Yes, that's Connie Nielsen, but I got the impression Loki was referring to the trailer, not the above pics.

Love the trailer! It looks really nice in terms of cinematography and I like that the way it's shot isn't overly sexualising her. Loving Gal as WW, she seems so strong but at the same time really gentle. Really like what I'm seeing so far!

i just love the lasso in this trailer.
in BvS the lasso didn't stand out much because of all the chaos but in this it looks so gorgeous.

the visuals for this film are gorgeous it has a nice balance of gritty and vibrant colors

action looks off the chain

oh and i loved the way Diana looks at Etta's hand as if she doesn't know what handshake is.
sucks we have to wait another year for this...

There's something, bizarre yet totally awesome about WW, in full costume, going "over the top" into no man's land during a WWI battle. Especially since, at least judging by this, they seem to have done a pretty decent job of capturing the horror of trench warfare (at least for a presumably PG-13 movie that is).

One wonder's what the soldiers on the other side would be thinking when they see her coming towards them?
