Talk about straddling the fence. :o

Just what I've gotten so far. Haven't seen her do anything really great, but she I like what I've seen so far for the most part. Her role in BVS didn't feel substantial enough for me to really gauge her as an actress, but I thought she did a solid job with the material she was given and I like what I see in the trailer so far and I have more faith in Jenkins getting good performances out of her actors than Snyder.

Then again, Flickchick put it better right after that anyway. :funny:

I like seeing some of my buddies (Darth, FlickChick and Kv5 and others) optimistic about what they have seen.:yay:

I like what I saw but I'm keeping my expectations in check this time is all. Honestly I never expect these early trailers to blow me away and it didn't but I thought it was solid.

I have high expectations for WW and I think it's going to be the best DCEU thus far.

JL on the other hand. Optimistic but keeping my expectations in check.

geez, Gal is so awesome in this and JL teaser.
she IS Wonder Woman, it's unreal.

Go watch Criminal and see Gal do something great with the little she is given.

That is only because she isn't Snyder. :funny: Have you actually seen any of her work?

FC usually does that. It embarrasses the rest of us. :csad:

So why is WW trying to assassinate Danny Huston? Aries? Aries minion?

I didn't say it was a good movie, but there are good performances despite the wonky writing. I don't watch movies based on RT.
I saw the trailers. It looked awful. But it does have Alice Eve and Gal Gadot, so I gave the reviews a look. Yeah, I am good.

Yes I believe he will be Ares in human form. Then in the final fight he will have his bad ass blue armor.

Or perhaps he's the leader of the cult of ares who secretly started the world war so he could gain more power?

Bit off topic but where has John-An been? Hope he's not missing out on this.

I think he's going to be Ares. Look at the sword she's going to use on him. She wouldn't need that if he was just a normal human.

We don't need no Ghostbusters. We have Gal. :cwink:

Yes I think the villain is going to be in human form manipulating things...or not. We could all be wrong. Lol

Just watched the Wonder Woman panel. Gal has such a warm personality and a lot of charisma. If Jenkins can bring that out onscreen, this movie is going to be great.

Love the trailer! :atp: I'm sort of bummed Etta and Steve are in the past, though. :(

Such a bummer. I want them to find a way to bring him into the future. :csad:

This is going to be Peggy Carter all over again isn't? :csad:

At least we won't have to see him suffering from Alzheimer's. He'll probably have been long dead by the present.

Nice trailer. Great to see the lasso in action.

I have many thoughts:

- Diana may not be a demi goddess from the way she referred to Zeus. Or she doesn't know the truth about her conception yet?
- Who is the lady in the half mask? The Baroness? Dr Poison? A pre transformation Silver Swan?
- Was Danny Houston's uniform English, German or something else? Diana clearly intends to kill him and he's clearly no ordinary threat since she couldn't simply use her bare hands, lasso or dagger to do the job. Diana apparently requires a special sword to kill him. So ... Ares in human form seems the most likely.

It was nice to see much less of a sepia tone to the entire film. As for the discussion about Gal Gadot's acting ability. For me, her greatest strength to date is the fact she's infusing Diana with her own personality which appears to be genuinely warm and welcoming. Whether or not that translates into a great performance as Diana over two hours remains to be seen. But, she's our Wonder Woman so I'm trying to keep an open mind.

Watched the trailer a couple more times. There's plenty of stuff I don't like, but I don't want to be critical. The more people are watching it - the better.
