I didnt feel like the Deadpool tease took anything away from Logan, and I say that as a huge Logan fan and a not a big fan of Deadpool. Its not part of the movie, so it doesnt take anything away imo.

Wolverine has had 2 other solo films plus starred in 4 X-Men films. Not nearly the same thing.

Insecure fanboys will be insecure fanboys. I'm no fan of Campea by any means but it's not like his opinion is an absurd one - it's been opined by a lot of people both here and elsewhere that she sounds flat and unconvincing in what little we've heard from her. I'm rooting for WW as much as anyone and I'm happy to hear that the buzz is good so far, but her skills as a thespian are still going to be a legitimate concern for me until I see the film.

Naw, his fan club just had to bring up something that dead. Anyway, my cousin who I went to the screening with loved gal and loved the movie. She knows nothing about comics and only knows of Lynda Carter and the super friends versions of WW. I think this movie will be like Patty wanted, a Donner Superman type movie for WW. A generation defining movie.

My girlfriend felt the same way. She had zero issues with how Gal acted and certainly didnt think she was outshined by anyone in the cast.

Of course he can...he can think the sky is pink for all I care. But just like he can say what he thinks I can argue against it. No one is limiting his free speech we are just laughing at how wrong we thought he was (neither his nor our opinion is a fact mind you ) and how he obviously is biased because he wanted someone he is friends with in the role (who lied to him flat out when she gave him inside information) and wont let it go.

It is a complete fallacy to act like us criticizing his opinion is something other than that. He likes to pass his opinions off to fanboy nation and sometimes he will get called out for it. If it goes beyond that then those people are scum but if he cant take a bunch of internet people poking at his opinion then he might be in the wrong business

Man I Gotta say I now CANNOT WAIT to see this film on my off day post release.

I always to some extent wanted a WW film BUT what really made me want one was watching the 2009 animated movie that I felt would be a tough act to follow despite me wanting one but the fact that we not only got one but one that seems to be held in high regard just has me Super excited especially since my nose has been stuck deep into D.C. Comics lately.

I've garnered quite the reputation around here as a DCEU hater but I've been rooting for this movie since day one and have largely remained optimistic. I was worried once some of the newer trailers didn't grab me and I still have my doubts about Gal, but I'm ****ing overjoyed to hear that the film is being embraced by almost everyone who has seen it. The hype is real.

She should have no trouble getting work now, assuming WW doesn't get 25% RT =P WB will give her whatever pet projects she wants, and it'd be great if she hires Gal who can continue develop her game for future DCEU movies, afterall, she's our RDJ now, apparently

I'd hire her as a producer for other DCEU films as well, her consultation will be very handy as she seemed to have hit the mainstream/critics/fans alike in the sweet spot

Along with her work on Monster, Patty has won Best Director awards from legitimate directing awards for her television work.
