I'm so happy to read all of these positive reactions!

After BvS and SS, I was really disappointed by DC, good to see and hear that WW will change the game for them.

Tickets have been booked for opening weekend for ages, can't wait!

No. There is definite humor but it isnt quips and forced jokes. It is just situations that make you laugh like Diana's naivete or Steve's complete befuddlement at the Amazons.

Exactly, just because you tell a billion poop jokes does not make you funnier. I think Diana's naivete can be likened to Drax taking everything literally in Vol. 1. Humor coming naturally from the characters finding themselves in situations alien to them. A trait that got completely switched out for something else in Vol. 2

Yeah...no dance offs or Shwarma quips in the middle of the battle. Things are funny when the scene allows and serious when the scene calls for it.

Lets not get into that fight here...

Speaking of fighting it is so nice that certain posters havent shown up in this thread in weeks :D

I thought I was the only one who noticed that lol...

Don't worry though, they'll rear their pessimistic heads at some point in the future. Likely when we get box office results lol Until then let's enjoy the positive vibes!

I can't wait to see Wonder Woman!

A new interview of Gal with Yediot Aharonot (an Israeli newspaper). I will translate it soon.

I have some issues with #wonderwoman (qualms that my daughter absolutely agrees with), but Gal Gadot is terrific as Diana and Wonder Woman.

Does it breathe new life into the DC films?

As someone who only outright hates SUICIDE SQUAD, it feels at peace with MAN OF STEEL and BvS while being different.

When asked if WW brings something new/different to the table in the DCEU:

It's too long/awkwardly paced and it's quite bleak in spots, but my kid enjoyed it.

This made my day. :oldrazz: :oldrazz:

I Respect his opinon however none of those negatives lines up with anyone else's! So I kind of feel like he is not a fan of our DCEU from the get go and is forced to nitpick it anyway possible! However Looks Like Wonder Womanis SO GOOD he can't even give it a Rotten LOL I feel like his daughter loved it and he forcefully tried telling her this what was bad about it and she probably said your crazy and he probably said "baby I'm a film critic so I'm right! Plus it's DC and Not Marvel honey" and he just told everyone well she agrees with him LOL

Interesting. I've been curious of what Mendelson would think of WW. He is not easy to please when it comes to CBM's.

For reference, Scott's tough on comic book films. Here's the last year's worth of comic book films he's reviewed: BvS 5/10, SS 3/10, GotG2 5.5/10, Logan 6/10, Civil War 6/10, Dr Strange 5.5/10, X-Men: Apocalypse 3/10. I can see it being on par with Civil War and Logan in his eyes just going off his reaction.

Actually I believe Scott is one of the most sincere critics out there. The guy will speak his mind and wouldn't get lost in fanboy euphoria. Just take a look at his scores for CBMs last year. It is scary looking. He hates blockbusters these days because they are more of the same and he says he'll give WW a fresh rating so that's already a big win.

Not really, I think he wants a lighter take on DC properties, which is difficult to do when director is taking a "grounded approach" with event like WW 1.

It's all about walking in the movie theater with certain builtin expectations rather than keeping an open mind.

Can we break a 7/10 :gngl:

Yeah. He is usually very harsh on CBMs or blockbusters in general so a possible fresh rating from him on RT is a good sign.

Well he said it wont be rotten so it should be fine :)
