do these screenings count towards box office?
General question, I've been hearing conflicting stuff that Wonder Woman has dark moments, grit, etc. And also heart, optimism, funny, Donner-like
What would anyone who's seen the movie describe the general tone/vibe of Wonder Woman?
You bald bastahs still better pay for some WW tickets.
I do everytime i see a film early, but I cant expect everyone to be a great human like me.

I got 2 tickets for June 1st...so go smoke a clove in cleebration![]()
Haha yeah, I did. It beat TDK for my top spot, simply due to the emotional core of the film. Plus, 17 years of Hugh as Wolvie....Growing up with Hugh's Wolverine put a really soft spot for him in my heart. Everything else was incredibly well-done for me too, so yup. Although I have to say WW looks like it MIGHT beat my favourite DCEU film: BvS.
That's great to hear!
Would you say that it's better than Logan? Because Logan is a beautiful film
I wont spoil anything here but lets just say it is dark when the story calls for it and it is full of heart and laughs at the right times as well. The laughs dont take away from the stakes of what is going believe me.
As I said to my gf...Superman is my favorite character in any medium, and I adore MOS. This movie is better than MOS. (it isnt fair to compare it BvS because that movie is a completely different animal) They told the right story the right way and hit all the right points. Yes there is a bit of corniness involved (when isnt there in comic movies) but you will leave the theater wishing you could see more! And that isnt because they left anything out, but because watching Gal and Co. kick butt is a gloriousness to behold.
Oh and the trailers dont do her acting justice...she really was awesome and shined in the role. She wont win any Oscars for it but I would put her performance up against anyone.
t:Ok I respect your opinion! My Fave CBM are TDK Trilogy, MOS, BVS, Avengers 1! I will admit I am not a wolverine fan at all and always thought the character was too simple and boring! Still not a fan and hated all the damn useless wolverine movies! Logan is the only one I can bare to watch but only if I feel like it! I always preferred Dark Phoenix; way more powerful and interesting! But I'm a D.C. Fanboy Forst so not big on any marvel films but can respect em

Ill answer this, but I feel like this is a moment you shouldn't prep yourself for and just genuinely take it in.Was the final act emotional? I mean whenWW goes into rage mode
I loved Logan a lot, the acting from Patrick Stewart / Hugh's relationship was definitely beautiful to watch on screen.
To be honest it's a very tough call because they are different forms of art imo, and while Logan was able to break a mold of what a "super hero" movie is, wonder woman had a mold that executed perfectly, and the nice part I think a lot of people will enjoy is it's the first DC character that feels like she knows whats up, and won't see a lot of growth as a character, which I think will be a nice balance to some of the other hero's currently in the DCEU.
I'd say Logan is the better movie - but Wonder Woman is far better than any other origin film we've seen in a while. You will take more on a personal level from Logan, but enjoy Wonder Woman for what it is immensely, which is her origin.
Wonder Woman will outshine it in the box office, but Logan has been the first marvel character film I've genuinely loved in a long time as I find many of the others just well...comedy's and void of their comic book counter-parts aside from the costumes.
Their is just something genuinely awesome about watching a woman kick ass on the screen and not being outshone by any male, it's mind blowing its taken this long to write a character like that, where nobody over stepped her, and she is consistently the one making the most sense on the screen.
Logan was an end of a journey, this is the beginning, even though I did say it would be the CBM to beat, my only advice is don't go into compare the two, but to enjoy both, because I think you'll find things you love about both, and personally I'd give a slight edge to Wonder Woman but thats not to take away from what Logan is, which could probably change for me to day to day which one I prefer more.
t:Hey, you respected my opinion without telling me that my opinion was wrong?? Heresy!Hahaha, I see!
My top 5 CBMs are: Logan, TDK, BvS, X-Men: DOFP and CA:TWS. If I could somehow fit 2 more in there, I'd put Spiderman 2 and MOS.

Me and you have a ton in common! Did we just become best buds??? Superman is our Hero!! I adored MOS too and BVS! I know Wonder Woman is gonna be fantastic! We Definitely need to start talking more budt:

My gawd all the bald bastahs at my showing were drooling over her! I was as well along with Hippolyta and Antiope
I wont compare Logan and WW because they are two different styles and two different parts of the individual storyline. Logan is a fitting end for Jackman's Wolverine and WW is a fitting beginning for Diana's journey
edit: I wont answer spoiler-y questions here...I want everyone to see it through fresh eyes![]()

Yes, but dont spoil yourself.

Not yet.![]()
Please tell me your going again next weekend and contributing to box office!Awesome to hear! I was also wondering how the film's ending might explain her cynicism in BvS. I don't think it does right? Seems that the film ends on a positive, hopeful note.
