The oscar buzz is nice in the sense that it means the movie is getting a lot of positive attention.

Whether or not it actually pans out is not a big deal. It will probably get some awards and recognition, but something like a Best Picture nom feels like a longshot.

Hopefully someone who can act. And someone who has great on screen chemistry with Margot Robbie as Harley Quinn.

Being able to act is often a plus! I hope the rest of the cast offer a lot too so that it doesn't end up being totally dominated by HQ.

Jessica Chastain. I will not accept any other.

Oh right. I wouldn't complain, would find it interesting to see her in one of these roles after so much fan-casting.

I'm going to predict that if one gets more ''award'' love, it will be WW. Just a feeling.

Gal seems like a sure nom for best actress in a comedic role at the globes. Globes do a lot of category fraud, so she would be nominated in the comedic category.

That Adams and Chastain are bland. That's what I'm "getting at" here.

Amy is as bland as a dish rag, but Jessica always impresses me. And in Zero Dark 30 and the Martian she had such a fire about her.

I like that the Amazons appeared to have a variety of women playing them. Apparently one girl was a model and a few of the others I saw looked like buff Olympic athletes. They really worked hard to depict them as having strength ad grace.

Liked the movie. Great heart.

The action sucked though. I guess you need more than Snyders second unit director. You need Snyder.

Have to counter and say that the action was top-notch! I was even alright with the slo-mo as the imagery that was displayed was awesome. It just needed to have some CG elements cleaned up.

Agreed the action was better than BvS! It just needed cleaning up in the last half of the film.

And honestly I wasn't that impressed with a lot of the fights in BVS either (sorry, but I didn't care for the Doomsday fight). It wasn't up to Snyder's usual standards.
