Sorry but it just seems like you are looking for a reason to knock a movie and a universe for no reason.
I get that there has been a lot of negativity regarding the DCEU movies prior to Wonder Woman, and fans are understandably a bit sensitive about that. But there is also a level of defensiveness that can get a bit absurd at times.
The story making sense obviously matters.
To take the example of Captain America, he was a hero in the past, then he awoke in the present, and that experience was crucial to his portrayal moving forward.
It defines his character interactions in the ensemble movies, and Cap adjusting to the modern world was a big theme of Winter Soldier, the Captain America sequel.
So the question of what Diana has been doing for the last 100 years is hardly some kind of esoteric consideration, or "continuity porn" or whatever.
She hasn't been frozen in ice, so the writers are going to have to think about what her experiences have been, how other characters will perceive her, and so on. What were her motivations? I doubt it will be that she got depressed and didn't do anything for a century.
I didn't mean to stir the Marvel vs. DC pot with my earlier comment, I could have probably found a different way of making the point.
