God, what an amazing episode.

Sure, not quite as shocking or as exciting as last episode, but I love we got a little check in on all the main characters.

I do love that the Deep is exactly back to where he was at the beginning of the series. I love that with all the **** he has taken, once he is back into a place of prominence, he turns right back to the guy who forced woman to suck his dick.

I am so happy to see A-train live. As unlike Deep, he does change and develop as a character. And I am damn interested in seeing his journey continue. Plus, his bit with Ashley was great.

I loved how Black Noir's back story was presented. And yeah, great way to reveal, that yeah, Soldier Boy was just as bad as Homelander. And god, the true origin of his injury was so much worse than what was implied. No wonder Payback got rid of Soldier Boy. Very curious to see which side he ends up on.

God, the bit with Maeve and Homelander was horrifying. I did not expect him to be planning on doing that to Maeve.

I loved seeing Annie with the others of the Boys. Especially Kimiko, as we haven't really had much interaction between the two. Annie and MM are a great pairing, and I love that Frenchie and Kimiko are part of that group as well.

The trip into Bucher's past was good, as well as him completely ignoring what he saw to continue his crusade.

The connection between Soldier Boy and Homelander wasn't too surprising, but I am very curious to see how that plays out. Who is going to turn on who first. Soldier Boy doesn't actually seem to be one to give up the spotlight, plus he wants to burn Vought down. And Homelander is a sociopath, who tossed his son off a roof.

Also, my bets on the egg donor for Homelander is Stormfront. Definitely fits within the show for Homelander to have banged his mom.

Also, I am a bad person and am going to hell for laughing way too hard at "I will slap you like Connery"

All the references Soldier Boy has made have been 10/10 lmao
 
Man, yesterday’s episode was pretty ####### crazy!


The twist at the end made my jaw drop, and I loved seeing into Black Noir’s psyche, Starlight getting the drop on Homelander was clever!

I also thought Karl Urban gave a haunting performance throughout. The end had me You bastard, Butcher!

Soldier Boy was even worse, with all the stuff he did! I was thinking a few episodes ago he wasn’t so bad, but man!

I was almost expecting Black Noir to stay as a (funny) one note punchline without developing him but they’ve certainly done that here.

Intimate look at Butcher but he proves why people hate him so much!

Yeah, I also was thinking Soldier Boy was 100 times more decent than Homelander but we’re getting into the worse stuff now.
 
I’m sad next week is the finale, but I’m sure they’ll end on a high note for what is to be an insane episode!

My favourite Comic Book TV show both this year and recent years!
 
So do we think Soldier Boy will be gone in the finale or back for next season?

She likely didn't know, Vought might have just harvested her eggs to make Homie.

It makes sense, Solider Boy is strong and durable, Stormfront can fly, Homelander can do both.

Think he can be killed off or detained with whatever Frenchy is cooking up. Though Jensen could likely do another season since the show has short seasons. Not sure what else he he has lined up long term.

True, hopefully that is the case. If the finale is his last showing then they better give him an awesome sendoff after a great season of build up.
