It would be funny if she doesn't end up being a stripper after all.![]()
With Anne, she would never make it just a purely sexual routine. Even in Love and Other Drugs, because she conveyed that sickness and sense of despair as a Parkinson's sufferer, she kind of defused some of the sexuality of her sex scenes so that you couldn't just enjoy it only on an erotic level without feeling some kind of compassion and sympathy for her.
If Anne did do a striptease as Catwoman, she might convey her sense of emptiness as if she were wishing that she didn't have to do this somewhat degrading act (even though she might as a stripper eventually come to enjoy it occasionally but probably most of the time not).
I'm trying to think of the most sexual scene in a Nolan movie and I'm kinda stumped. Is it in The Prestige? Or in Memento? Other than that I can't think of any.
Eck... I hope not. Where is that sense of authority and self-empowerment Selina has? It reeks of playing the sympathy card, one that is all too often pulled out in occupations of ambiguous moral nature. As if the only way a stripper can justify herself is if she's forced to do it and is unhappy. I'll pass on that idea.If Anne did do a striptease as Catwoman, she might convey her sense of emptiness as if she were wishing that she didn't have to do this somewhat degrading act (even though she might as a stripper eventually come to enjoy it occasionally but probably most of the time not).
There isn't one. At all. It any of his films.
I mean, MAYBE Memento, when Leonard picks up a hooker, but there's no nudity, no sex scene, and no innuendo in the dialogue.
This is the primary concern I have with TDKR.
Catwoman is SEX.
Yet, Nolan has never depicted it in any way, ever.

Yeah, you're right. I tried really hard to come up with something but came up with nothing. The most I can think of was in The Prestige when Angier was kissing his wife who was in the bed but that's really nothing much. ScarJo was wearing some sexy outfits but that's just it.
There is nudity in "Insomnia". . .but's it's a corpse, so I'm not sure that counts as sexual.
The Brits are far less prudish than us Americans when it comes to sex
I don't buy the stripper angle for a minute. Nolan's too classy (and more importantly, too much of a prudish Brit) for that.
Just as long as they don't glorify thievery, violence, and vigilantism, they should be fine.
