Tim Sale's Catwoman is just an uglified version of the classic 80s/90s version. Is it actually in his style, or just wearing the purple suit?

You've already seen some of the classic suits adapted to the game's style. It's not an exact copy and I'd assume it will be tailored to the Catwoman model they already have. Sale's suit has a very unique mask so that will probably differentiate it from the classic look a bit.

By the way, how does "Earth 1" differ from "All Star" as a concept? Other than not being written by Frank Miller and not being lame?

All-Star are simply arcs with no continuity restrictions, and could probably meld with the current timeline sans a few minor hiccups. Earth One is a complete reboot from the ground up. A different universe altogether. Think of it as Marvel's 616 and Ultimate line, except in graphic novel format.

Geoff Johns (writer) and Gary Frank (artist) speak on it a bit. Little info is known. It's not due until May of next year.

If it improves on everything AA gave us then it's hardly an outrageous claim. The same was said about Goldeneye, Ocarina of Time and Half-Life the moment they were released.

it's hard to take that first review seriously, when they are saying it's the best batman adventure ever.... better than any movie or animated movie or comic book.... I'm curious to know how many comics they ever read....

Idk.. I think if they've improved that much on arkham asylum which is one of the top ten games I've ever played I could see it being one of the best Games ever made. Arkham asylum was so much fun Ive replayed it like 4 times and still enjoy it.

No, but you'll be able to buy them as dlc (downloadable content) on psn/xbox live. I think it's like $7 for the lot.

Batman Beyond, The Dark Knight Returns, Batman Incorporated/modern, classic/Bronze Age, BTAS, Arkham Asylum Gorilla Batman.

Seriously though. The first four suits are wins of galactic proportions. But I'm not feeling the BTAS one, to be honest. It'll be nice for nostalgia's sake, but I can't see it meshing with the overall aesthetic of the game.

And I'll go ahead and say it. Once I have these bad boys in my possession, I will never use the Arkham Asylum Gorilla Batman ever again.

It would be nice if Arkham City acknowledged Teh Puffy and Teh Puzzley suits, as well as Burtons and the Batnipple Suits as eventual DLC.
