I think Anne is pretty, but the pictures do get out of hand.

I'd much rather they re-posted her beautiful(ly hard-to-get-out-of-your-head) music. :D

87vertgt is a Batman wannabe. His delusional thread is here:

The little we have on this Selina/Catwoman, some if it reminds me of her character in BTAS. Especially with that witty side. Like the scene we heard of her saying "Wanna hold my hand", she has that kind of cocky wit in BTAS too.

And that "apple" scene reminds me of a scene in BTAS when Selina not dressed up as Catwoman tries to rescue some stray cats from illegal animal catchers. Love seeing her kick ass as Selina (even though Batman comes to her rescue in this instance).

I remember that. I think BTAS dodged a weird bullet by removing the mystery of Selina's identity to the police. She stopped being the socialite right after that. Don't know why Timm & Dini went that route, especially since the alternative, at least for a few more episodes, would've been much more interesting.

Nevertheless yes, I think we'll see something along those lines as well. I was watching Two-Face pts I & II and couldn't help but smile at the fact that Batman was driving his 'pod' there :) oh and, in the original Scarecrow episode you have Batman gassing Crane the same way he does in Batman Begins. I know, fanboy over-analysis, but you can't ignore that ****.

I imagine that BTAS continues to be so influential because it offers an accessible synthesis of most of Gotham's major characters, in a very digestible form. I remember hearing that the BBC's radio play of "The Lord of the Rings" was used by a lot of the cast of the Peter Jackson movies as an introduction to their characters, and you notice when watching the films that Ralph Bakshi's crappy animated version is actually imitated quite heavily at times. It seems like a similar process.

The question is whether it is a matter of conscious homage or subconscious paraphrase.

NO I haven't seen that clip and I'm begining to think I never will. That video doesn't work for me.

I just realized something I haven't seen yet that just caught my attention with this image and that is will Catwoman have her trademark whip in TDKR ?

Whoever she is, she's got a great look for Catwoman. Those eyes are mesmerizing.

I read somewhere that Anne really goes by Annie Hathaway among her close friends and family. Anne Hathaway is more her professional name which she uses, probably because it sounds like Shakespeare's wife's name.
