The Dark Knight Rises Anne Hathaway as Selina Kyle/Catwoman XXIV

It's not as if they're going to say they don't like her, or she shouldn't be Catwoman.

They could. You never know who is gonna say what about who. It would be cruel, but it could have happened. I remember when it was announced that Hilary Duff had been cast in a movie aboutr Bonnie and Clyde, Faye Dunaway (who is famous for portraying Bonnie) said "I was disgusted when I heard of her casting. Could they not find a real actress?".

Or they could've said something like "I'm curious to see how she does with the role."... which would avoid them being nasty, but prevent them from having to say anything actually nice about her playing the role.

The point is that they didn't have to praise her and give her their blessing to play the role. Plus I'm sure it means a lot to Anne that the women who are most famous in the public's eye for portraying the character love her being cast... especially from Julie because her portrayal of Catwoman was very obviously an influence on this Catwoman.

“Oh, I think she’s great. I’m actually very much looking forward to seeing her in the role. I’m a big fan of hers and I think she has everything you need for that role. She has the humor, she can go to dark places, she’s obviously very talented. I think she’s going to be really good.” And would she have played Catwoman for Christopher Nolan if given the chance? “Oh sure. I definitely would have done it.”

Woah that's great! even Michelle P is looking foirward to it. I think Michelle would been great in the Nolanverse of Batman. We need a Catwoman smiley.

Guys now that we got more info about Catwoman thanks to CinemaCon, I can't wait to see Anne in action. Everything points she is going to be terrific as Selina.

Now can we discussed about Selina Kyle being a maid in Wayne Manor??? Does that mean she really steals Martha Wayne's pearl necklace? Is she somekind of Bane spy? or she has her own agenda

At the moment we have confirmed that yep, Anne's nailed it. And that Catwoman is actually on Batman's side at one point of the film.

Some of the said scenes:

The relationship between Bruce Wayne and Selina Kyle is a little harder to pin down, as the footage sent mixed signals. Selina Kyle might be a master of disguise, as she's shown leaving what appears to be a party in a maid's costume before ripping off the white collar to convert the outfit to a simple black dress. She's also quite the car thief, boosting Bruce's Lamborghini and, as you already know, the Batpod. What you don't know is that she's learned how to use the vehicle's weaponry.

Despite the evidence to the contrary, I was left with the feeling that Batman and Catwoman are indeed allies. There was a brief shot of the two of them fighting side-by-side, but more importantly was the sympathy Catwoman showed to Batman and his cause. "You've given them everything," she tells Batman, to which he replies,"No I haven't. Not yet." I'm paraphrasing the beginning of Batman's line, but I'm sure about the "Not yet" part. This was the moment that had the biggest emotional impact for me.

This should be hilarious!

We also see Kyle hanging out with Bruce Wayne, but it's Bruce Wayne who seems sick or injured. He's thin, and he has a ****** goatee. He's playfully shooting a bow and arrow in his dining room - right next to Selina. Does she help Bruce Wayne get out of some kind of a funk?
