Vin Diesel teased him playing the Vision and now it looks like he'll be Groot in GOTG.

If Pegg is involved with Marvel Studios at all, for all we know, he'll end up playing Scarlet Witch.

Either way, I could deal with Pegg in the movie. Kind of inevitable really, with Wright helming the thing. My only deal is... I can kind of see Pegg more as either Scott Lang or Eric O'Grady. I'd love for Nicolas Coster-Waldau to be Hank. Him or Jason Bateman. Actually, Bateman would be good Scott Lang as well.

It would be massively trippy if Wright found a way to fit all three Ant-Men in the movie.

Wright and Co. can say a lot of things about this movie though. Things can change. Or misdirection is a possibility.

Either way though... Pegg would be a great addition to the MCU if he or Feige wants to be a part of it.

I really like this actor for the role. He would fit pretty fine with the Avengers cast.

He's not A-list actor, but a lead from a more or less known tv show, so he would be a great supporting actor on the team movies, imo.

Simon Baker would be great. He actually looks more like Scott Lang though, but he could work for Hank Pym since he can bring the intelligence and slightly darker side to the role.

Neil Patrick Harris could work, but I wonder how it would be if he shares scenes with Cobie Smulders. They're already engaged and meant to be getting married in HIMYM. It might be a bit weird seeing the two of them again.

But then directors use the same actors all the time. Joss Whedon used both Amy Acker and Alexis Denisof in Much Ado About Nothing. They were a couple in Angel as well.

Egghead isn't much of a fighter, neither is MODOK. Taskmaster is.

Also, even though I'd have some doubts about a gay man playing a character so tied to an opposite sex love interest, NPH proved that he could pull it off with HIMYM. Also, Dougie Houser + Dr. Horrible as Hank Pym is awesome casting. That combined with the upcoming finale of HIMYM means he'll have more availability. So please Marvel, do it because it would be awesome casting.

Also, knowing Edgar Wright, he'd probably use NPH's singing talents in one scene or another. Imainge Ant-Man seranading MODOK to confuse him, then following up with a retort along the lines of, "Your foolish attempts to confuse me were in vein. Although amusing, you must still be exterminated."

the only reason i'm against using Taskmaster is that he's kind of wasted if you aren't going to also work the crime school into the plot. his role could easily be filled by someone like Crossfire (rogue CIA agent turned mercenary) w/ a squad of A.I.M mercenaries, in tow. he'd probably provide more of an even fight since his cybernetic eye would allow him to see either Ant-Man at any size. plus, there's no way that either Ant-Man takes Taskmaster in a straight up fight.

i don't think there's a reality out there where this is plausible. but i would love it if Jason Statham played one of the Ant-Men. i'm imagining some really brutal size-assisted fight scenes.
