cool. As much as I would love to see a fully realized TV DC Universe at some point, I think they need to take it slow. Throwing Wildcat in this season might be a bit too much for me.

There are going to be 23 episodes; that's of plenty of time to introduce 3 new characters.

Yeah, but 3 new characters with a comic book history that people will want to see more of. I'm just worried about the show getting bogged down by all these new comic characters and world-building, and forgetting that this show is, essentially, Ollie's story.

They handled it well in the last season, so I just hope they keep up about that pace.

deathstroke will return maybe not until he get recruited into HIVE? would be a great way to bring him back to SC to cause chaos again

I can see Deathstroke coming back at the middle / end of the season. He's in ARGUS captivity, and Waller probably won't be able to hold him in there for long (plus with her bombing urges and all).

i feel dumb for just noticing some of the major similarities between Chloe from Smallville and Felicity

I also read from some people that Felicity is pretty much Oracle because both have exception computer hacking skill and assist other superheroes

I may be the only one but I've been counting announcements for The Flash as announcements for Arrow and vice versa.
Yeah yeah, I know that most character aren't crossing over, but characters like Firestorm and The Atom likely would.
It's clearly the same universe, same show runners, shooting in the same place.
The big crossovers are going to happen. It's just a matter of how often.
I'm sure we'll get a two-parter that starts on Arrow and finishes on The Flash.

I'm distracted by the fact that someone signed up for Twitter as Olicity Forever, like... that's their identity.

At a certain point it stops being about wanting to see characters on a tv show have good chemistry and a relationship for the benefit of the story and becomes an insane narrow focus on only wanting to see two characters together.... forever. You're not really a fan of the show as a whole, just a character or two.

That's what I think what makes "shipping" a whole different thing.
I think a soft preference to who you want to see together in the context of the plot is harmless. It's normal story and character interest.
But when it's starts to resemble your only motivating factor for watching and you get legitimately angry when the writers don't makes things go your way...that's bad.
You don't want a fanbase full of that.

They aren't that similar really, one of Felicity's major traits is awkwardness and bumbling, and Chloe was never like that.

Ironically Chloe gets with the Oliver from Smallville.
