since we want Ral al Ghul to be faithful to the comic......what would you want to see that we did not see in the Nolan films
Arrow does not play around with this stuff. I was kinda expecting this happen so I'm not flipping my wig yet. I want to show some restraint till I see how faithful to the comics they portray him.
I know they can't use him, but there needs to be at least one Batman reference.
This is why I love Arrow, this show doesn't play games with you. Everything pays off and they dont make you wait several seasons for it to pay off. We're getting Ra's freaking Al Ghul! They're really opening to floodgates to the DC universe on this show and I LOVE it!
Makes me wonder, though; assuming this show lasts five seasons (or more) who would be a sufficient villain to top Ra's?
With Ra's around, and Nyssa presumably around, I wonder what the odds are of seeing Talia.

a pregnant Talia
I really think we're right. I don't thing Ra's Al Guhl is ever going to show up. If they were allowed to use him he would have been in season 2. They were just name dropping him. They are using LOA but that does not mean they will use Ra's Al Gul.

I wonder if DarkKnight007 will be back.
Apparently, episode eight of TF will be called "Flash vs. Arrow".
The guys running the show are too big of comic nerds for me to believe they would just transplant the Batman/Ra's relationship onto Oliver and Ra's. They'll approach these two a bit differently, methinks.
A reference to a detective is enough for me
Ra's Al Ghoul as the main villain for the third season is going to be awesome. DC is on fire lately.
