I honestly wonder if the major cast members and even the producers know about how much hate (or at least disappointment) that this show has been getting as of late with the creative decisions that they've made, let alone on the infamous reputation that Marc G has been development online.
I'm not going to lie, I'm beginning to have a lot less respect for Stephen Amell. He's got a great personality, and I know he's doing what he should be doing, which is not burying your bosses. But there was a time where I would follow him anywhere, and once he started acting like season 3 and season 4 were legitimately awesome, he started to come across as being really fake in his attempt to reassure people that things get better.

Granted, we've already seen what happens when you step up to your boss, but as the lead of the show, I feel like he should have more input in what happens on the show.

He has listened and responded, I remember reading the comment he was going to tell the writers to cut out a lot of the olicity crap, saying it was "noted." and usually I find when he says he gets the option to talk to them about the direction of the show it usually does seem to change direction since they know he's so involved with the fan community.

And I think we are seeing two extremes now, one that loves felicity and oliver, and the other where they want to see felicity burn and die.

I for one, just hope it goes back to not being the focus of the show, let them be together with no drama, no need to have these heart to hearts, both are good characters when written correctly, and I still think they make a good couple.

That is how I feel too. I like Felicity as a character but they are just taking her in an annoying direction. I LOVED the first half of the season when her and Oliver were together with no drama and working as a unit and making each other stronger. It created a fresh new dynamic for Oliver and for the team.

I mean, I get it, part of the superhero lore is that being a hero will always put a strain on your personal life and relationships, but we dont need to see this constant conflicting back and forth between them. At this point we've had two seasons of it, make a decision to either keep them together and have them be together with no more drama or separate them and have Oliver move on.

What I don't like is how the season starts with Felicity lying to Oliver for months as she continues to help out the team behind his back. And once Oliver finds out, they handle it like adults, and Felicity essentially get her way in the way.

But then Oliver is caught lying about his son, which he had a completely valid reason for doing so, and Felicity goes crazy, acts like a child, and essentially gets her way where no one on the show ever takes a stand and tells her she needs to chill and she needs to be more understanding.

That's what's wrong with this show, where you have the romantic interest, which wasn't the female lead at that point, dictating what the main protagonist does, and you treat her like the real, noble hero.

The thing about Oliver lying to Felicity is that it makes zero sense because Oliver's ex would have no way of knowing that he told Felicity.

I mean, what Felicity going to do? Immediately go tell the kid's mom that she knows about him? It's a stupid and unenforceable threat and much of the boring melodrama that has plagued this season sprung from that.

In this specific case I think Oliver was being really, really stupid. Felicity on the whole has been a very annoying character these last two seasons, but I don't think your example is a good one.

What's not good about it? Oliver didn't tell anyone. Thea figured out on her own, Barry knew because of time travel, and Malcolm "has his resources" and that's how Dhark knew. For Felicity to not take a moment to understand that he was respecting the wishes of his son's mother just makes her seem selfish and close minded.

It is one of the few moments this season that makes Oliver look stronger because he actually kept a secret and was respectful, despite the toll that it took on him personally to keep that from Felicity and Diggle. Not to mention, when Felicity originally found out, she flipped out even more the first time, and that's while Oliver was still emotionally wrecked about the news in the first place, but at least there he stood his ground and said he needed to process it.

Seriously, with your logic, that's like saying it's okay to cheat or something as long as you don't get caught.

Yeah, the way Felicity acted in the crossover crossed so many lines it wasn't even funny, Oliver was still trying to process that he had a son in the first place and Felicity goes full b**** on him. Her timing in episode 15 was pretty terrible as well though, not mention the whole "left me out of the decision" thing. Oliver was respecting the wishes of the mother of his son, he could've told Felicity, but he was well within his right not to do so.

They have left it very late to reveal Darhk's partner (who I think is Talia, and I am sure that is most peoples guess). My feeling now is that it might be Ruve, and if that is the case I will not be happy, as Ruve is not much of a character. If it is Talia, I hope the reveal will not just be late twist that is supposed to shock us, but rather a set-up for something that will come into play next season.

Even more so, He didn't really LIE about his son. He just didn't tell her about him.

Not only that, but in the episode where they saved the kidnapped boy, his mother straight up said to Felicity "Don't be mad at Oliver, I made him keep this from you" and she still kept freaking out for a half season.

Felicity used to be a decent character who had consistent motivations. At least in season 3 when she was pining over Oliver, she was consistent about it. Now she's just crazy and irrational.

LOL guys look at the tweets Manu is retweeting now.

Something tells me that with the Suicide Squad stuff making them kill off characters, he knows his time with the show is done and has no problem sharing his experience.

I know some people sensed it sooner, but this was the moment when I first knew that felicity was being ruined as a character. With Oliver presumed dead, she was the one who tried to assume control, whether it be disbanding the group because she was sad, or trying to lead them again and speak for them when they joined back, it just says a lot in this scene/moment how highly the producers felt about her.

Is Ray the only character to call Felicity out on her crap? I remember when she told him his dead fiance wouldn't want him out fighting crime or whatever, and he went off on her. God I loved that moment. Only time I can remember someone actually telling her off. Need more of that. Especially from Oliver.

So I guess nobody cared enough to start a thread for tonight's episode. :oldrazz:

I'm scared to even watch it. I'm watching the playoffs right now... Only 2 eps left thank god.

Has the show yet established how Damien Dahrk was exactly the same as he is in modern times as he was in the episode of Legends of Tomorrow set in the 60s? Are they just overlooking that?

I think last season said that DD stole a Lazarus Pit or something. Ra's mentioned it.

He stole some Lazarus Pit juice from R'as. They mentioned near the end of season 3.

Some cool action (Olly had killer moves in that chase scene), but everything leading up to it was atrocious and dumb.

This season is somehow worse than last year. This Waward Pines ******** is terrible.

The acting (DD's wife/Thea's BF/even Malcom/most of the side villains/the flashbacks), the plotting (DD/Felicity/Felicity's Parents), the dialogue, and the cinematography this season were all just ugh.

Hahaha. Felicity and her mom are so ****ing annoying.

Why couldn't she have just died in the mid season finale.
