Um how would they be able to be in this universe where aliens and superheroes or over the top costumes exsist?

The same way they exist in the DC Universe.

One day they just show up.

Curious; with this Season, we've had two major ongoing arcs for the show: The Arc of what happened to Oliver during his time on the Island and the Present Day Arc where Oliver is trying to take out everyone that's on his father's list.

Between the two arcs, which ones have you guys to be more exciting to see/take place so far?

That's a tough one. I'm really interested to see what becomes of Moira, Tommy, and Malcolm. Plus looking forward to The Count and Roy Harper. But I also want to know why Edward, Yao Fei, and Deathstroke aren't in the picture anymore.

I am really excited for the first season to conclude so all of the island scenes so far can be edited together. So I guess I'll go with the island.

So the Blackhawks in this episode...are they supposed to be the same Blackhawks from the comics? Or is the name just a coincidence?

If they are the same, I'm a little disappointed they didn't go with the classic logo.

Agreed; in some ways, I feel like that the fact that Oliver was able to survive that island for five years and come out of it the way he did adds a richness to his character, and yet the whole thing that Malcom has planned for Starling City where it involves several people dying has me intrigued as well.

Honestly, I wonder on how they're going to be able to top this season.

Paul Blackthorne/Detective Quentin Lance America accent is really good.

Cool to see the Blackhawks and Ted Gaynor

On one of Amell's latest youtube videos he said there would be a nod/easter egg in the middle of the episode, but a very subtle one, anyone caught it?

I really liked this episode, the action was great and Browder was great as always.

Edit : Okay he said it was a "gigantic reveal" but still subtle.

That Yao fei twist was kind of stupid and didn't make sense IMO

I got the sense that Yao Fei was playing the bad guys. I guess we'll see...

Crazy though: The whole island scenario is Robert Queen training to make his son the perfect killer.

How do you know it didn't make sense? They haven't explained it yet.

well obviously... but they were hunting for him and tortured Oliver and he was on their side the whole time?

must be what was said ^^^ brainwashed or something.

The reveal is that Oliver didn't spend five years in the island. He got out somehow and then came back.

Oliver tells Diggle his father told that all the names in the list are evil.

Diggle asks how did that happen if Robert died before Oliver found the list.

Oliver says he found a message from his father telling that.

Diggle asks how he found a message if he spent five years in a deserted island.

Oliver doesn't say anything, but it becomes clear he didn't found it on the island.

Besides, he had to become a Russian mafia lieutenant somewhere.

Well assuming if that all ends up being true; one must wonder on why Oliver would go back to the island and how he ended up being stranded there again on his own; let alone on what happened to everyone else and how he ended up being the last man standing.
