I couldn't get into the final few seasons at all. I thought the JSA episodes were some of the worst IMO.

It was so preachy about justice in a superficial way. The costumes were horrendous that I couldn't help but role my eyes. I would rather see them not put the characters in costumes if they look that bad. I know thats not a popular opinion though.

That's one thing I have to hand to this show. Arrow's costume looks really good. I'm glad they spent the money on getting a good costume designer for it.

You speaketh the truth.

I'd love to see this series evolve into something like Jack Bauer and 24. Arrow getting caught in the crossfire with the FBI and counter-terrorism. Politics being at the forefront.

I'd also like to see a situation where Arrow is forced to kill unarmed civilians in cold blood for the sake of the mission/ the greater good. Captain Archer was forced to do this in Enterprise Season 3.

^^
It is Green Arrow not Red Hood :p

I just saw last episode, Deadshot eye piece looked much better than in the picture.
I also like ( in a funny way ) how Deadshot tatooes ( grammar ?? ) his guilt all over his body just in case the police doesn't have enough evidence against him.

lol interesting reaction to whether Stephen was good to work with or not. She didn't really have much to say.

Episode 2 airs tonight in the UK cannot wait

‘ARROW’: WHY YOU WILL ‘DIG’ OLIVER’S NEW CONFIDANT
I’ll be honest: I was not expecting Dig to be the first person to learn Oliver’s secret on Arrow. But now that he has, I’m completely on board — especially after executive producer Andrew Kreisberg explained to me what’s in store for this new dynamic duo.

“Dig finding out is going to rock everyone’s world,” he says. “We always knew early on that we wanted to give Oliver someone to talk to. We didn’t want to constantly have voiceover where he was expressing his thoughts to the audience.” Additionally, Kreisberg says that, in a way, Dig understands Oliver’s predicament better than anyone else, and his view of the young crimefighter isn’t sullied by “preconceived notions of who Oliver Queen was.”

“We always say that if Oliver is the dark the Dig is the light and the truth is somewhere in between,” he says. “They really need each other — Oliver needs someone to remind him of the value of life and that the extreme way is not the only way. And that sort of push and pull between the characters has given us so many great episodes because you get to see them not just having fun as partners but also see them wrestle with the morality of this quest they are both on.”

But what does Dig get from Oliver? A sense of Purpose. “Since he’s come back and is in personal security, he feels like he’s not making a difference in the world. So teaming up with Oliver certainly gives him the opportunity to do that,” he says.
I knew it.

Isn't that kind of the point he thinks he's so good it doesn't matter.

Just seen the 2nd episode here in the UK... really enjoyed it.

But boy do the writers lay everything on thick.

Awesome. The narrating was getting old. We'll actually hear Green Arrow have conversations and not just Oliver Queen.

I'm sorry everyone is talking bout how good this show is it is good but I only have one thing wrong with it. The villains arrest to short and I'm looking foreword to my next favorite one deathstroke . China white was one of my favorites to. But she was only in what three scenes and boom she was gone it was stupid there is no point in watching a show where villains don't Get that much screen time

I agree that some decent time needs to be spent on the villains. As much as I'm liking the show,it's still 60% CW soap/40% Superhero actioner.I'd prefer the reverse,if not a 50/50 blend.

I agree as well, this show definitely needs to devote more time to it's villains. However the writers seem to have a plan. Almost like instead of starting off the show by focusing on 1 villain at a time, the show seems to be focusing on Arrow's origins, introducing a bunch of villains, then coming back to explore them further later.

It's one way to go, and I'm interested to see how they pull it off.

Never thought bout it like that

They could have let any one on the show know his secret if it meant no voice-overs. However, Diggle was clearly the best choice. Looking forward to next episode.
