Moira doesn't give me villain vibes. She's done bad things and will certainly get her comeuppance, but Barrowman is the true bad guy.

Moira is just a biotch. Lol. Still the show will be better off without her in the long run.

Yeah, it was left ambiguous and people in real life have survived worse injuries. So there's a pretty good chance they could bring him back if they wanted to.

Simo Hayha, anyone?

Just thought it was a fitting example. :D

Finally on March 6th, 1940, some lucky bastard shot Hayha in the head with an exploding bullet. When some other soldiers found him and brought him back to base, he "had half his head missing." The White Death had finally been stopped...

...for about a week.
In spite of having come down with a nasty case of shot-in-the-face syndrome, he was still very much alive, and regained consciousness on March 13, the very day the war ended.

:wow:

I want the boxing glove arrow. He could have some kind of an arrow with an explosively expanding tip that "punches" people eventually.

I'm cool with trick arrows but Boxing glove is a bit to far imo.

I haven't seen the last episode (shh. don't tell me about it. Its DVRed). But if Diggle starts working with him,

and maybe he starts getting tech help from that computer girl Felicity Smoak,
Oliver_Queen_Stephen_Amell_and_Felicity_Smoak_Emily_Bett_Rickards.jpg

maybe he will build a sort of team that helps him. Maybe she will start helping him build non lethal weapons and trick arrows. and armor.
Maybe he could get a team like he has in the New 52.

I want his character to evolve beyond a guy getting revenge on names in a book, I want him to become a defender of the weak and helpless.
And I want him to become political. Very liberal and an activist. I want him to call people "Fat Cats." And talk about protesting against things
or supporting things.

I also want him to start talking about what happened to him on the island with his sister. Give her something to do on the show. Maybe he
and her reconnect. He tells her about the island, they train in self defense together because he is worried about her safety. Stuff like that.

And I want Laurel to stop saying things like "I care about those close to me, you should try it some time." and acting all I am so much better
than you and I will remind you of it all the time. Because he does care, although he sort of has just replaced his uncaring shallow ways with
neglecting his family and friends to be Green Arrow. So maybe he needs to be reminded of that.

So Colin Salmon was knocked out of Strictly Come Dancing this week. That means he's either at a loose end now (if he's been killed off in Arrow) or he's free to come back and work on the show. I'm guessing it might be the former though, because how did he get the time off to be over here in the UK and practise all week if they're still filming new episodes? Unless his character took a break for a while and is still technically around.

They could be on a break from filming Arrow too. Depending on how much they have done.

Yeah, but since Salmon had committed to appearing on Strictly Come Dancing until near to Christmas (he wouldn't have known in advance whether he'd be knocked out this week) that's a long break to have from filming Arrow from September to December. Most series never have filmed that far ahead for an entire Autumn/ Fall schedule.

I might be mistaken but I do believe that some shows do (e.g. complete shooting by the end of summer for the autumn/fall schedule) to provide enough time for post-production. In addition, filming doesn't occur in chronological order (e.g. they might start filming scenes for Episode 3 before shooting the final one of Episode 1, etc). Shooting his scenes ahead of time is entirely plausible considering he doesn't require much screentime per episode.

I'd like him to be the guy who'd try to make a city where criminals wouldn't have a great environment to grow. Helping kids, philanthropy, etc. in order to prevent having to stop these people in the future. But, it doesn't seem like he's interested in stopping the common criminal on the streets. Just the people in his father's book.

And I thought it was interesting that they brought up gentrification. But, I highly doubt it'll go any further than the conversation he had with Diggle.

I think its very possible that Arrow will learn that his approach is too aggressive. And he needs to go non lethal. And especially from Diggle, he will learn that he needs to do more trhan go after the list. I see the show and Ollie's character already starting to go in that direction. So hopefully it will be soon.

I agree. Diggle will show him that he will need to be more about justice than just revenge.

Non-lethal is good. But I don't want him to lose his brutality. I loved when he shot the guy through the hand and pinned him to the wall.

Lol....I was wondering when someone would make a BB reference.

Well this show is basically a Nolan Batman ripoff, so they're never far away.
