That episode was like a mini-movie, the ending was fantastic. The fights were fantastic. Love this show.

Yeah, this episode was good. The flashbacks and current events all tied together perfectly. Plus, I like how the side stories/sub-plots are just as good and intriguing as the main story. The conflict between Ollie's mother and black dude from Resident Evil/Bond was entertaining and is setting up to lead to something big.

The fighting in this episode was really good too. When Deathstroke caught that arrow and broke it I was like, "Oh ***** it's on!" lol. Asian Arrow is a bad dude too.

Well we got our answer on how the show will work with Walter being on that British Dancing with the Stars show. He'll be on vacation, instead of being killed off (for now).

Yeah, but he will be back. His presence is good and I didn't want him just there to lend credibility to the show and to draw in black and british viewers. He's a great actor and his story line with Ms. Queen is good.

Judging by the Preview that EW just showed us regarding the episodes to come, it seems like:

Oliver gets lucky with the Huntress:wow::yay::oldrazz:

tonight may have been my favorite episode so far

Great episode. Once Laurel gets away from her chatty friends, she's a solid character. Some good emotion, nice drama between Laurel, Oliver and Detective Lance, and two decent subplots with Oliver/Diggle and the Queen coverup. Liked the flashbacks, and the action was generally fantastic. One minus. Deathstroke was apparently just an enforcer here...who never spoke. And I get why, but the result is kind of "meh". Decent combat, but he went down a bit quickly, given his usual reputation. Hopefully there's a much more complex version of him in the future. Maybe what we saw was just Young Deathstroke.

The episodes definitely are getting better and better, as I expected. These things take time.

One thing that does annoy me is that Dinah's dad can't stop *****ing about his dead daughter. I mean I get it, but Ollie didn't drug the chick and drown her with his own two hands. She was a grown woman, and she knew what she was doing. It was a wrong place, wrong time thing. Lance just can't face the fact that his little girl was a skank that would **** her sister's boyfriend. :o

Well, it's the truth. :o

Yea it is... the little hoe.

the acting seems to be getting better... im really digging diggle :D

I thought that the asian Archer looked familiar so I checked him out on IMDB and it's the same guy who played Ryu in Street Fighter :woot:

You know, I can't wait till Dinah finds out that Ollie is in fact really the Arrow. I'll bet the first reaction is a slap to the face. :D

True, though I thought it was revealed in this episode that there was more too his anger regarding his dead daughter in the fact that it was because of the daughter's death that drove him to getting buried into his work which ultimately led to his wife leaving him as well.

That's normal...most fathers would rather believe their virgin daughters were carried off by a monster than that they were skanks.

Good episode. Last week when I said that I think he should start wearing the mask after he gets off in the case was clearly proven wrong. But a logical place in the story to work in the mask would have been at that point.

Otherwise, I like the addition of the cop being an alcoholic. It shows how his life started spiraling out of control after Oliver came into it and took his daughter. Things just turned down on every front for him after.

I did read that his partner had to come to the set and practice there. I would imagine the show is the first priority if he contracted for it before the British Dancing with the Stars. Also, I thought I read somewhere he was eliminated so it shouldnt be a problem anymore.

Congrats as Damaged is the highest-rated episode of the series so far. Two reasons - Oliver/ Dinah and Deathstroke.

Awesome wonder when CW will officially announce a second season

When I first saw Deathstroke, i thought, oh boy! Even he was just a thug/mercernary...which is what he is. But just the way he came in and looked at Oliver tied up...if that was me, I would've crap my shorts!

I was wondering about that, too... lol freaking Ryu.

Yea i thought they were going to last night. but no.. 'I was only tortured for like 5 years and my body looks like a warzone, but im still the party boy i used to be' :oldrazz:

The amount of hate detective Lance has for Oliver should be doubled lol
The CW’s Arrow, which surged 23 and 30 percent week-to-week to 3.7 million total viewers and a 1.3 rating — its largest audience since the series launch and tying its best demo delivery.

I think its more because of the cliffhanger last week TBH...

Also, I see people refer to Laurel as Dinah too, what is the norm? i know her full name is Dinah Laurel Lance.. but is she referred to as Dinah more in the comics or what?
